Try Sebidees Unit Roster mod. It adds a lot more mercenaries to the roster keeping the Carthage identity of hiring men to fight their wars and also gives many other factions a chance to shine when you face them.
I remember those days back in early 2014, your videos actually got me through some pretty rough times and i dont think I've ever said thank you, so thank you Heir, I hope life is good for you!❤
Thank you for taking your time to watch. Happy to hear it helped out. Comments like this and folks like you are why I just never want to stop making videos.
After watching and playing loads of WH3 lately, it's nice to go watch some classic battles. There is a lot more slow, deliberate, and cagey play in the historical games.
If you want some additional faction flavor, I use sibidee faction expansion when I do campaigns Just note, it's kind of buggy if you use the New desert factions bc they came out after it's last patch
Great to see some more Rome 2 content, I still love playing it so thanks for putting it up. Hope you are well Heir and pls keep up the great work. Would be great to see you do a Carthage campaign again it's been a minute since your last one. I really enjoyed your Seleucid (with Hannibal) campaign, I watched everyone of those videos and had a blast. (the Seleucids are my favourite faction). I think the best mod to go with is DEI and have a look at Sebidees roaster mods as someone else suggested. They are great, I use his Hellenic and Rome roaster mods myself.
Listening to your commentary over Rome II is so nostalgic. I remember being 14-15 watching all of your Rome II guides and battle commentary. Lost interest when they went they fumbled with thrones and went to warhammer. Hope you’re doing well
Hey Heir! This is a little late but I would 100% recommend chekcing out Rome 2's DEI mod. complete overhaul of the original system - makes it 1000% more fun imo.
Hi Heir. For my campains i in general use "Military Public Order", wich ads a little bit of public order for military buildings. Another mod i like is one that reduces factionwide corruption if you build the research building. Other than that i write my own mods for my multiplayer campains. If you have any ideas like giving carthage cheaper mercanaries or expand the faction pool, new units ,mess with faction bonuses, unit stats, buildings and general abilities maybe i could help out on that to make it the campain you want.
You don't have to check for morale on tooltips, there's a button at the bottom right in the unit info to show captain/unit description which can be used if the captain/general of the unit is alive. If the button's there he's alive. I wish this wasn't the only tool besides looking for some tooltip that may disappear after the general died recently is ticked over

Great suggestion, his mods are brilliant, I use his Rome and Hellenic faction mods.
Love your rome 2 multiplayer battles! Keep it up!

great to see some multiplayer battles that isn't a bulldoze, thanks for the content!
The Massilia player prob gave the best early micro I’ve seen in a long time, don’t know how Carthage managed to stay composed during the start
Massilia just ended up sacrificing too many units on suicide missions i think, he played very well but kinda gave up the advantage
Thanks for uploading this! It was a fun one
A Divide et Impera campaign would be fun. I think you would really enjoy it.
He's done a DEI Carthage campaign before. Should still be online
Love seeing these Rome 2 battles!

Been too long but this is how you come back with a bang. Intense battle

Stay strong Heir!
This old man is worn out from work, but I am going to still get the content out!

A battle being decided by 30 soldiers is definitely some Rome 2 type stuff
I really appreciate heir making such good content I never get tired of watching
What a great battle
There's a mod that puts beards on the carthaginians. Small, but historically more accurate and good fun.
An incredible battle, an inferior army using numbers and every strategy in the book to level the playing field, but in the end it just wasn't enough 👏
nice oldschool vanilla matchup
