Do a final rinse with cold water to close your pores but wash with warm water

That's nasty.
Locs are beautiful but this made me not ever want them. The buildup and dirt would drive me crazy. There is nothing like feeling a clean scalp and hair but more power to the loc community. It just seems so unsanitary.
Regular washes keep locs clean the same as loose hair. However with them being thicker and having to use products to retwist, most people need a detox every once in a while
Ignorant, learn basic hygiene s d you won’t have build up, I’ve seen folks without locs and hair and scalp just nasty.
I probably should do this. My locs are 4 years old and I have never done a detox 🫢
