The Kone chimes are quite nice, I find them way more pleasant than some of the Otis chimes. Some chimes have a very harsh character to their sound, almost if they are played through a guitar amplifier with maximum saturation (these tend to be the generic lifts).
Does KONE have something to do with OTIS before? Their Delta/K-Delta chimes sound almost exactly like OTIS 2000 chimes. Anyway I like the chimes at 0:51 (OTIS), 1:25 (KONE) and 1:17 (thyssenkrupp, right?).
1:17 Yes, that's a ThyssenKrupp chime. You're not the only one who's wondering about KONE's Delta/K-Delta chimes sound similar to OTIS's 2000/European GeN2 chimes. OTIS's chimes first came out in 1993 when they first launched the OTIS 2000 lineup, while KONE began introducing the Delta chimes in the very late 1990s or very early 2000s, so I wonder if KONE copied OTIS's chimes a bit or they simply didn't realize the similarities when they first made the Delta chimes and it was a coincidence.
1:17 - 1:19 my faworite chime

1:25 It sounds like a Classic Otis Directional Chime.
I'm just hoping that KONE will sell their other KSS (not just 280) lineup soon in Indonesia. I like that KSS chime at 0:41.
2:09 the chimes are much better that way!
The Kone chime at 1:25 is very pleasant sounding
Well, yes! Every KONE with the deeper chime is just better than the original chimes.
I love the Kone ECODisc

@@idl3k_elev And also KDS chimes which, when slowed down, sounds like a Thyssen ones (although Thyssen's chimes are slightly longer than KONE's)
