I can't comprehend European/Asian elevator regulations when it comes to chimes. Here in North America, elevators are required to have a single chime for up and a double chime for down.
Don’t get it either but most of public elevators are now telling you going up/down, which floor you are in and if door opens or closes, but also like the beauty of the more simple chimes going one’s or twice as solution.
Wow! I can’t wait for the full videos of these elevators! Also, 1:08 holy crap that display looks beautiful! Also also, I find it quite interesting that you can actually trigger “mini-melodies” (1:55, 5:46, 5:50, 5:55) with multiple KONE M elevators.
Lol that ThyssenKrupp display isn't that too special IMO, I prefer the yellow electroluminescent OTIS 2000 display instead. The idea of triggering those mini melodies KONE M chimes was actually started by accident. It first started when I called both the aft crew elevators (two elevators but on separate control) after work and both elevators arrived almost at the same time, hence making the mini melodies chimes. Since then, I often made those chimes in the same elevators (and also other elevators) because of how interesting they sound.
I tell you what, though, 7:02 the (English) floor announcements are the European version but the door & directional messages are the Asian version. I wonder why that is?
@@t3224.elevators_nz I think that Schindler cannot decide where is Turkey located 😂, they install both Asian and European lifts (such as 3300AP and 3300EU) here

We don’t have any regulations here I don’t think, sometimes they’ll put the chime in ascending or descending order for direction (like Mitsubishi)
