What are some other games that offer the freedom to use ridiculous strategies that I should consider playing? I'm going to continue this run for sure, but I also like to take breaks from games and come back to them so having some other options would be nice!
I would look into Morrowind and Oblivion. Those are some games with some ridiculous stuff you can do with magic, potions, etc. If you want a more niche option look at a game like Darkest Dungeon, and perhaps you could take a look at the new DD 2 although I don't know if it has the same cheese as the first game. The dishonored series is also fun, using bottles to fight and cheesing enemies with rat swarms and other powers. Dishonored 2 is incredibly fun when you play a "plague build" that summons tons of blood flies when you essentially do anything.
Not exactly ridiculous strategies, but the game itself is super weird and funny. Disco Elysium. I would suggest playing that in your own time. Baldur’s Gate 3 is also amazing. Definitely close to Divinity. Still in Early Access, but a lot to do.
I am.. Even more impressed that the game takes that into account Killing guys you aren't supposed to be able to do. Actually is rewarded by them not spawning later THat is amazing
Eh, kinda, yeah. I killed every single person on the original ship that got you to Fort Hope, "accidentally" shooting the children too who were talking to Lohse. The children pretended that it didn't happen, and asked me to go below deck to save the people (they're all dead) which I did, killing Voidwoken. I got to the island and they were all alive. Even commented on me not going back down to save them, since the children decided to tell them that I was a coward. But other than that, yeah continuity's pretty damn good in the game.
It's always fun to see new strategies for pickpocketing. If anyone wants to pickpocket someone, but doesn't want to use the gift bag and isn't confident they can pickpocket under time pressure, there's a third method that gives you as much time as you want. First, initiate conversation with a vendor. Then, swap to another character. Teleport away the character in conversation with the vendor. The vendor will run over to the teleported character to chastise them for teleporting away mid-conversation. Talk to them while they're away from their post and they'll stay there as long as you like. This lets you move them to a more secluded area where you can sneak without invisibility.
@@bullzebubi used this strat to pick pocketet all friendly NPCs in all maps. Sometimes i moved a few boxes in the way to block line of sight from one npc.

They way I pickpocketed driftwood merchants was using terrain transmute on a puddle of poison created by poison dart and teleporting the poison beneath the non-merchants with eyes everywhere. It takes a couple of mins to kill each one as they walk out of the poison but you just keep teleporting it under them and they eventually die. It also puts an end to that insufferable "it smells worse in here than a dozen rotten eggs dropped in a vat of vinegar" lol. Then the usual split party and distract other merchants whilst you pickpocket the remaining one trick.
During my honor mode run I used some cheesy strategies myself. My personal favorite was how I killed Adramahlihk. I gathered every oil barrel, poison barrel, and normal un-elemental barrel in the game leading up too it and filled every normal barrel I could with oil from the oil pump in act 2. Put them all in a chest and dropped it at his feet, left one character outside the fight and detonated it. Was one of the most fun and satisfying things I've ever done in a video game. Especially since my first every play though that demon bastard killed me probably 50-60 times before I beat him.

I've completed the game a couple of times but didn't know the first voidwoken fight in the cave was winnable. I thought the bugs just infinitely crawl out of the ground until all your party members are obducted.
This is the first time I've beaten them, lol. Infinite bugs would have been a fun challenge too though, just to see how many I could take out before running out of steam.
@@Fracture.Gaming I think I managed to kill some of the voidwoken but a new one always crawled out. At least that's what I presume has happened, because each time one party member is enwebbed, one voidwoken vanishes underground with it. And I don't recall one of my party members staying in the upper part of the cave after the fight. On the other hand, if they did spawned indefinitely, someone would surely exploit it as an xp farm by now.
15:10 The visuals of fog or lava aren't perfectly aligned with the actual death zone, and the edges can end up not doing any damage. I found this out after abusing the deathfog at the docks near Blood Moon island or the abundance of lava + Terrain Transmutation in Nameless Isle.
A shame you didnt abuse the OP ballistae on the far side of the ship against Dallis - I imagine with the Stair Infinite Turn glitch, you could have teleported all enemies to the far side, then each turn (pre-hasted) leap to the ballistae, shoot it, adrenaline, leap to the stairs, go downstairs, and repeat. Then when theres only 1 minion left, move him to safety and teleport dallis to finish her with the ballistae (although she runs off). It's one of the nice "normal" exploits that is fun to mess with when fighting on the ship.
The last video and now this one are really tempting me to get back into DOS2. I made it to Chapter 4 with a friend before we stopped playing... but maybe I'll try a solo run. And maybe try to be a bit more creative instead of trying to rely on regular combat.
Just my opinion, but for solo play I think 2 characters with lone wolf is more enjoyable than 4. Less busy work of hunting down gear and skill books, more fighting and questing.
@@Fracture.Gaming That's a good point. When I did my co-op run, we each had 2 characters, since I found 4 hard to manage on my own. I hadn't though of doing a 2-character solo run, but maybe that'll be a lot more enjoyable.
Quick tip for the scarecrow fight, the way I won with my friends is like so, there's a couple of knights down the road, and you basically use one character to run toward them making sure they somehow enter combat as well, and they just basically clear the scarecrows solo without any help really. Been a while so I don't really remember where they are, but a very solid tactic nonetheless if you can't find a way to kill them!
Nope! I’ve actually never fought her before, but I do have a full plan in mind that I THINK should destroy her. If it ends up going according to plan, that fight will only be in the video for like 30-60 seconds…
Alice and the sallow man are the two characters I've always cheesed and will always cheese. I'm excited to see what he will use with Alice, there are so many ways but the fact that he can't use the same exploit twice makes it unpredictable.
I have a probably unrealistic goal of getting the spiffing Brit’s attention to plan a Baldurs Gate 3 collab when it full releases. Maybe some barrelmancy to rival his video would do the trick…
@@oldWanderer69 Yup! I have the other 2 as well, but the rules of this run would make it hard for me to justify using them... maybe I can bait an enemy to break the barrel for me or something

@@SereglothIV Honestly that was my first thought... infinite exp. They'd have to make it so only the first 4 give exp if it was infinite
Braccus Rex meteor is a thing since divinity original sin 1
i have more then 300 hours in this game and never new Mordus could transform, i always focused him first lmao
You have good target prio, lol. I imagine he’d be tough to beat if I didn’t use any dirty tricks. Though chain cc would probably be most of the fight.
@@Fracture.Gaming I always use any kind of combination with low health and death wish it's disgustingly broken. Never fought him "normal" :D
I was suprised too
The Return of the King.
You're too kind 😊
Great video!
Thanks!
I was waiting for this 😊 bless you dude
Bless you too
that Deathfog shit happened to me before, guy jumped in DEAD CENTER OF THE FOG and hit my undead, wtf then he dtook a step and died it was annoyingg
Yeah I was about to lose it.
Really good video!!😊
Thank you :)
They took out the carpet 🙏😭🙏😭
There are so many enemies in this chapter, you're going to run out of cheese before long. Maybe chill with the optional encounters
I have most of the remaining fights planned out already :) Plenty of cheese to go around
This content is awesome!
I'm very happy you enjoyed it :D
YOOOOOo, the first video was so nice, he had to do it twice
:D

The visuals of fog or lava aren't perfectly aligned with the actual death zone, and the edges can end up not doing any damage. I found this out after abusing the deathfog at the docks near Blood Moon island or the abundance of lava + Terrain Transmutation in Nameless Isle.
Never knew Mordus has a second form, i just soulmate him and drink a big ass potion everytime.
Oh it's already here! Lucky me 😂
Lucky indeed!
IT IS HERE
!!! yeah :)
YAY!! New video
YAY, thanks for watching :)
Never thought of using shackle of pain and a healing potion as an undead to kill something, but now....
NOw i really wonder how the djinn fight is going to be because the mordus fight is the exact method technically
Idk if you watched the next one yet, but the Djinn fight was extremely chaotic :)
Quick tip for the scarecrow fight, the way I won with my friends is like so, there's a couple of knights down the road, and you basically use one character to run toward them making sure they somehow enter combat as well, and they just basically clear the scarecrows solo without any help really. Been a while so I don't really remember where they are, but a very solid tactic nonetheless if you can't find a way to kill them!
amazing videos :)
thanks :)
I hated that scarecrow fight. I ended up just mass healing them to death after the 5th try.
FINNALY LETS GOOOOOO
OH YEAH
Infinite money pouch still works, though your now off of fort joy
I actually don't know about this one. Is it a specific pouch or something?
Yes, divinity, nice
😄 Glad you liked it!
The forbidden Kool-Aid!
you should have killed the "keeping it together bree?" "I'm alrigh as long as I don't tink about it tew much" guys in town too
There's still time... I'm working on recording / editing the rest of act 2 right now.
@@Fracture.Gaming haha yesss get them
Cant wait to see how will you deal with Alice Alisceon
Will it be old trick with soulmate and healing potions?
Nope! I’ve actually never fought her before, but I do have a full plan in mind that I THINK should destroy her. If it ends up going according to plan, that fight will only be in the video for like 30-60 seconds…
@@Fracture.Gaming DAMN
Ok(i remember how i spent like 2-3 hours to defeat her)
Alice and the sallow man are the two characters I've always cheesed and will always cheese. I'm excited to see what he will use with Alice, there are so many ways but the fact that he can't use the same exploit twice makes it unpredictable.
I will watch it later ok bro
This fight does not give experience though as claimed... 4 Relics of rivellon gives little exp if any. The main idea is to get strong gear.
Do a barrelmancy run dude
I have a probably unrealistic goal of getting the spiffing Brit’s attention to plan a Baldurs Gate 3 collab when it full releases. Maybe some barrelmancy to rival his video would do the trick…
I like chestmancy runs
So op, I love it! But I already used it in the first act so my rules for this run say I can't use it again.
@@Fracture.Gaming did you grab the death fog barrel from begging of the game?
@@oldWanderer69 Yup! I have the other 2 as well, but the rules of this run would make it hard for me to justify using them... maybe I can bait an enemy to break the barrel for me or something
IF I DON'T VISIT YA, WHO WILLL??????
What is that yellow looking skill in the 1 slot of your characters? I have looked through the wiki but I can't find which skill it is and its driving me crazy
It’s just basic attack. It attacks with whatever weapon I have equipped.
@@Fracture.Gaming Ah, makes sense, thank you for the quick reply.
