Damn Sergio is such a down to earth guy the media makes it seem like he’s a egotistical guy but he’s actually a great guy glad u got him on Larry
Just me or does he sound like Phil Heath?
I've met Sergio a few times, he's always been cool, down to earth and willing to talk to me.
"the media" he has just made himself look bad on instagram
Except when his estrogen is high (which is most of the time) then he goes to social media to cry
He is really good at acting down to earth in person. Then he goes on social media and cries and bitches. His egotism portrayed by the media isnt made up.
We talking lifting, or presenting a body on stage. Lifting its apparent; but stage presentation, I think taller dudes kill it if they got the package. Numerous guys could be named, but the GOAT was a tall guy.
“The more you exaggerate the more bodybuilding you are.”
Rich Piana- “SHHOOOP, AHH, SHHOOP AHH”
Loved this video. Great collab, always great having diverse content as well as the regular progress vids.
The Myth, Jr’s dad, the most impressive bodybuilder back in the day.
Not even close to Arnold's aesthetics.
@@nonyabusiness1126 - He was pre-Arnold
@@nonyabusiness1126 is aesthetics code for lack of muscle? Lol
@@nonyabusiness1126 Lmao Sergio had waaaay better genetics and in fact was more aeshetic than Arnold
@@nonyabusiness1126 Arnold was trash.
with how many sports do we get such an insight, up so close, for so long, in what it takes to be the best you can? love to hear the both of you talk shop.
His side profile - you say his Phill Heath
Liked the video two, raw nice bodybuilding workout with a cool conversation
Hate arm day love this video
Really good one Larry.
More like Biscuit Oliva i would say
Serg is a legit BB, one of my favorites
Hey Larry, you should shot a training session with a guy called itsdreamworld, he is insanely strong, power of nature
Lol Larry after hearing him talk, “imagine how big id be”
Larry do bodybuilding for one year bro with some good trainer
Sergio his own worst critic! I'd donate my balls to have his physic, I'm 43 N still can eat shit daily an can't gain weight. When I'm lifting I gotta eat cheeseburgers N frys to maintain weight. Some say it's a blessing, to me it's a curse. The only meal that makes me feel full N energized is ultimate oatmeal, with peanut butter N granola, I eat it so much I'm sick of it, N it's so good, honey in it too. But could never get anywhere close to these studs, I've been stuck at 165-175 whole life
Bodybuilding is the only sport, where you've to get unfit to become better at the sport, ironically they get to call themselves fit.
It's funny how he says after I gained 150lbs. Like it's nothing. It's easy to gain weight if you want to be fat and out of shape. But when you're a BB. It's different type and eating. It's not cakes and fastfood everyday
Phil Heath ? Or Sergio
Is it just me or does larry look shrunken down a bit?
Sergio really have some roelly winklaar arms
naaa
except Lee Priest, guy had intense muscle development.
He looks a lot like Phil Heath
We need more Sergio on the channel and more constructive conversations between you guys. I really felt grateful just watching and listening to you guys.
This must be the nicest, most impressive person I've ever come across!
Mr Sergio Oliva Jr, you got a fan here!
I'm an old powerlifter from Sweden (45y) with some love of bodybuilding, but your personality blew me away!
I wish you succed at every goal you strive for, as soon as you decide what that is, but please! Please don't change a thing about who you are.
Thank you Mr Oliva and hi from Sweden👍
Yea he's the nicest dude ever
You don't need to train arms when you inherit Sergio Oliva's Sr genetics. 😂
Bodybuilding is one of the only sports where height is a disadvantage
''sports'' LOL
@@9999-k9q how is it not a sport?
But when you get it right. You look way more ridiculous that a 5ft 5 Dude .
In the real world 6´1 or 6´2 with good size and proportions still looks the best. Just not on stage.
MotoGP
I loved the conversation totally true. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle 💯
Larry: "I broke my back"
Also Larry: "Do you wanna go work out bro"
Sergio Jr and Larry is an Awesome collaboration!
Pressing movements and pull ups are definitely harder for taller people in my opinion
As a 5'6 person, tall people look better with muscle than short people do. Though I'm not saying short people should remain skinny or fat, that would be dumb.
As i can tell from experience, taller guys can still have short arms. Good for bench pressing, but not for aesthetics.
@@Schaufelor What experience is that? If you're a tall guy you generally have long arms. Unless they have a really abnormally long torso.
@@H.K.5 totally depends. Taller people are maybe going to look "more athletic" but have a harder time filling out mass. A short well proportioned person with good muscle insertions seperation etc can be much easier to look muscular. So if the goal is to look muscular, the taller guy is going to have a harder time growing to that size proportionally, and probably going to have to bloat and bulk more, and still not look as good. You see this in bodybuilding all the time
@Waldel Martell yeah tell that to that genetic fucking freak one of the strongest in the world ! That will tell them!
Sergio seems like such a down to earth guy!
Hes missed judged aye
100%
@@Thevrmonkesisters I wouldn’t say that, he’s very two-faced and refuses to accept any accountability. I’ve been following him since he was an amateur, always full of drama and thin skinned. He can dish it out but can’t take it.
I would like to have a workout at the gym with this guy 👍🏻cool dude
Lol
He is like a another Phil same voice and mindset only taller. 💯 love the advice on this video learned a ton of mindfulness
I can't believe pro bodybuilders have that much muscle mass. Every time Larry stands by one he looks skinny like here and when he trained with Brandon Curry ETC.
Right 😂.. pros are hella wide and blocky. Vs stacked an slimmer
@@jdagreat4595 Brandon Curry is not "blocky" and he still made Larry look skinny.
Greg doecette wont like this
I've totally believe "eating is the toughest part". Having to make all your food also makes it that much tougher too. I wish I was rich. I'd have a live in "chef" who made my meals 7 days a week. 😁😁😁
I agree it takes me forever sometimes on meal prep days. I'm trying to plan better
Captain obvious
I don’t believe that height has anything to do with growing size or making it easier because the science behind it says no matter what your body is gonna fill up the same way n will take the same amount of time depending on which persons workouts are more effective. It’s all personal opinion just like how people try to say race has to do with who’s a better athlete
to much hours in the gym...Dorian Yates words: 45 minutes to max 1 hour in the gym...Train....that will safe you loads of time during the day :-)
Awsome PR intro with the dead loft and dark background
You have a spin injury....Dude....just work on forearm curls...save you back...forearm strength is different than grip strength...seriously you forearms are a weak point for you
I agree with Sergio, it might take longer byt a full 6 foot frame can hold more muscle and just look more imposing without having a super blocky waist too
Being tall does not look more imposing!
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 it absolutely does.
@@truthwillprevail.7213 It absolutely doesn't. Now what?
Fun Fact - Mr Oliva from Baki is based on Sergio Oliva Sr
no
@@user-cm9ef4fw7m yes
Of course as soon as the video starts Sergio just gets negative he is the most miserable guy
Good honest content because its the truth and great to finally have guys admitting to some distractions in there lives and overcoming to strive to be better
Larry seems slim to these guys. If only Larry work his leg off he will be 150kg like nothing. He still has space on the leg to develop.
Great video as always! I love the real unscripted conversation, I can see why Larry is so liked because he’s real. 💪🏽💯
Serg. please find your way to the Olympia. I'm the same way. It's all mental. Youre one of my favorites. Don't over analyze and let the bs get to you.
These guys are 10 years apart crazy
This video was impossible watching. For some reason I get so many disturbing ads form RUclips. Just can't bare the nonsense.
Sergio won genetic lottery and full muscle bellies, same as Phil Heath, Roelly Winklaar, Kevin Levrone and few other guys.
Bed at 10pm why?? Still early for a adult and good things on TV then etc.more eating too.
I think if Sergio started working out earlier in life his all in attitude might have made him into a mr o
Sergio sounds Jus like phil Heath
Looks like him too
😂😂😂 yea he does so wild
@@eugene21white just shave his beard
Sergio kinda reminds me of Heath just a little, the way they both talk and arms.
Blames 2 weddings for he’s competition miss.. 😂😂😂😂😂
Sergio actually seems super intelligent. Would love to talk to this guy more, he’s dropping so much knowledge.
RIP Sergio Oliva. Great upload LW, thank you. Sergio Oliva Jr. is a very cool dude. Namaste🙏🕉🌸
He sounds just like Phil Heath 😳
I disagree with Sergio. I really truly doubt that the best in the world are missing meals. That’s why they’re the best in the world, they don’t make mistakes. They live and breath bodybuilding. Which again, combined with everything else, is why they are the best in the world.
Not hating, but it seems like he’s making excuses for his lack of consistency and bad placings. He’s trying to justify it in his head.
Still love his physique, just think his head isn’t in the right spot at the moment.
I think he's closer to what the best in the world are doing in reality as opposed to you. No offence
Tell me you are not a bodybuilder without telling you are not a bodybuilder.
I never knew much about Sergio Jr before this video, I know his dad is a Total legend, Sergio Jr comes across as a a genuine humble nice guy, I'm looking forward to seeing more of his content. It would be good to see some day in the life stuff and getting them 6 meals down lol 💪
His father was the best bodybuilder. He had powerful proportions, a narrow waist, arms the size of a head, a chest size of 152 cm, with a waist size of 80 cm.
Jrs mum must of had dogcrap bodybuilding genetics. Senior was the most genetically blessed bodybuilder ever. Period. His son is good but just nothing on senior. Imagine senior with current drugs, diet and training….
He didn't have a 60 inch chest lol.
With current drugs and training he'd look like every other modern bodybuilder, a bloatlord
@@jamiealexander7065 Look again! It was DAMN close...
@@psilocybinenthusiast5200 his arm genetics are close
Woah I failed a bench pr today but damn this video really reminded me why I love powerlifting and I am way too lazy for bodybuilding you guys need more credit 😂
Larry I support u and everything u do.
Larry bicep is damn perfect ,but i think he lack a bit of tricep muscles comparing to his bicep
It's harder for them in open but easier for them in classic.
It’s harder but if a 6ft guy can fill out his frame as much as a 5”7 guy then he will look better when put next to him, but it is harder to fill it out

This type of videos is very good, because they show other personal icons of Bodybuilding, and Sergio Oliva JR, is one of them without a doubt. Thank you very much for the excellent video. Greetings from Chile. :)
Great Bodybuilder. Famous second generation. Deep into the sport.
I mainly like the video because of your conversation with each other and I took it all in. I’ve followed you Larry for about 5 years and use some of your heavy movements because I like strength movements as well. Looking forward to seeing your next video 💪❤️
Thanks brother. Sergio is a smart experienced man! Wish you all the best
Yes I had this video in my ear at work and I enjoyed it definitely
i saw him a few times at "The Gym" in San Diego training... didnt realize how big a pro open class bodybuilder is... my exact thoughts " humans can get that BIG!?" a lot of good information came out during you guys conversation, training, dieting, recovery etc. great content!

Man, I love how humble Larry is. So glad I found your channel man. 33 year old, up to 185lbs lean from 155lbs. Have lifted om/off for years, but since finding your channel I'm actually focused on gaining the right way. When I quit lifting last time, I was 195lbs during a bulk and fairly strong. Now I'm 180lbs and lean but MUCH stronger.
Love the content, man.
The bodybuilding lifestyle is absolute misery if you're getting it right.
That was a good bodybuilding session. Honestly I love tune in to Larry wheels content cause I learn so much about bodybuilding so I can put all I have learnt into play..
Larry.. you need to fly to Vegas and Support Andrew for his 1st Pro Show.. Texas Pro in 2 weeks..
His father is my favorite bodybuilder
bro i always wanted to know this the taller u are does that have to do with strength or no?
Dexter Jackson said before he retired they he could NOT wait to downsize and eat fewer meals and calories because it was such a massive chore to eat, eat, and eat to retain that sort of size. I'd assume you're almost like a slave to food.
never realized how much i relate with him lmao i have to eat so fucking much food to get bigger . getting past 250lbs is a bitch
Yeah I'm stuck at 275lbs rn. Being 6'4" sucks to lift heavy. Already hurt my back squatting last year
Height has nothing to do with building muscle. I'm 5'6 and I struggle to make it past 130.
@@H.K.5 yea but shorter people like you look more muscular even tho you have less muscles because it’s more compact.
@@boosta3094 That's a myth. I'm in good shape and fairly lean but I don't look bulky at all.
@@H.K.5 you weigh 130 and you’re lean of course you don’t look bulky.
The guy he dont know what hes saying! he claimed 10,000 calories but he dont know that only 8000 calories for more than two weaks will kill you! the horse is powerfull than the humain 30xtimes and he dont even consume 10k perday!
Other than some of the giants like Shaw, Sergio might be the first person I have seen with bigger arms than Larry (Larry has the Biceps, but Sergey Triceps are crazy and shoulders seem pretty close)
10,000 calories a day🤣😅😂. What's the rest time inbetween these sets?!
It's more difficult to fill up that frame when you're tall obviously. On the other side, taller bodybuilders look more aesthetic.
If you have a 5,6 200 lbs bodybuilder vs say a 6 foot 200lbs bodybuilder id say the tall guy has it harder cause most likely his reps are going to be longer ect
The 5'6 guy would be carrying far more muscle on his frame due to his height.
Why is the 6ft dude only 200lbs lolol obviously the 5'6 guy is eating more 😂
@@chrisgarza4051 no they eating the same. Bigger people need bigger meals.
@@chrisgarza4051 lol its just an example tall vs short tall guy is going to be moving a longer rep i did not wanna make it 200lbs short vs 250lbs 6 foot cause someone would say thats not fair 😆 comparison or something
@@SZUSEast1 I’m 6’3 200lbs and I have to eat 4000 cal just to maintain this weight while working out every day. I think it’s because we have larger organs and skeleton. Even when I was 150lbs I was still eating 2500cal as maintenance
I like watching these guys they make me look skinner than the lead singer of the script XD
Wow. This is a collab I've been waiting for as long as I can remember. I always thought if you combine the look of Sergio Oliva (either one, since Jr. is a spitting image of Sr.) and Larry, you get Biscuit Oliva from Baki. After all, Oliva Sr. was the original inspiration for Biscuit.
exactly like that
Double edged sword imo. Tall has advantage and disadvantage, same as short.
Short you can fill out your frame easier, but theres a limit until you start looking stubby and out of proportion.
Tall cant pack on size as easy aesthetic wise, but their potential is off the charts.
Plus no one wants to be short lol
I met Sergio Oliva Sr. at a seminar after he made his Mr. O comeback and the dude was a monster
I remember his dad holding him as a baby when he won a comp, now look at him
Great video! Sergio stretching that cuban flag 🇨🇺. Proud 💪🏼👍🏼. I remembered seeing his instagram a while ago, cool stuff. Hope he wins a competition soon. I’m doing arms next. Lol
I'm A Bodybuilder And The Only Channel I Enjoy Watching On RUclips Is This One, Good Job Bro Larry...
This was one of the most interesting post Larry's done in a long while. He should forget the heavy lifting imo.. longevity is a must..stick to the bodybuilding.
And when tall important doing legs then not much.

Sergio looks and acts so much like Phil Heath I sometimes forgot who I was listening to.
Sergio sounds like Phil Heath also kinda favors him…
Train arms 7 days a week? On roids of course
I have terrible arm genetics. They were ultra small and ultra skinny before going to gym. Still, if i dont eat like a pig, day full of carbs, they look like a sticks. So now what i gotta admit is that i will be fat (over 15% bf) my whole life (if i keep being natural) becouse since i dropped 2% bodyfat, my arms started peeling off. Its f.king bad genetics, same as legs. Chest and Back are almost the same size when im cutting, they just like more full and more defined during cut. But i cant cut, since my arms will again look like a f.king sticks, and then i will lose self-confidence again. I hate my belly fat, and i wanna get shredded, but just thought on how my arms would look on cut is just terrifying me. They are so long (both biceps and triceps) and they are so thin. I want them shorter and wider. Like this, my arm doesnt look like im working out at all. My height is 5'11. Anyone with similar experience can help me? Thank you! :) Think imma juice up in few months/ 1 year at maximum. At least SARMS, not TRT or something similar. Also i cant take creatine coz im creatine intolerant (bad kidney proccessing), so im totally disappointed. I am one of most getting-into-it guys in gym. I dont chit-chat, watch my phone or bullsh1ting around. Im just straight weight, muscle to mind connection. My shoulders, chest and back are growing good, but limbs are so long and so tiny. I mean the muscle is not that small, but its very long. I would like to have 50% shorter long head and 50% bigger lateral head (triceps), biceps isnt that terrible, just its long, and looks very narrow. While i know some guys my age, that workout 2 times less than me, shorter than me, not committed at all, drink and eat trash food, and have alot bigger arms, while i (who is 100% committed only to gym and lots of proteins veggies and healthy carbs) look like sh1t. Not speaking about chest/back coz i rly dominate at them. In 1 year i gained like 10kg of muscles, since its my first year working out, but my arms are almost the same size i started with. I got alot wider, but i just wanna good arms :( And i think my TRT level is low, since i have small beard, just few pieces of hair or however u say it :D And my voice is also girl-like, not man-like.
When you hit your upper 50s all those injuries well show their ugly heads again..
I would love to see Larry go into Bodybuilding . I actually think he would have less injuries . I also think his physique is underrated
