Dear Common Man Show, This is one of the videos from this channel where I'm sitting in front of my PC with tears of joy in my eyes. I can't thank you enough for giving them such an amazing experience by showing them the amazing corners of India. Because the culture in every corner of India is so different from the others because they are so far apart. If this was only made possible by donations, I would like to thank each and every one who donated to make this possible.
I have not visited this channel in a while, and I was very surprised with the boost in quality in these videos. This was such a beautiful experience for us to witness and for the squad to live through. It makes me so happy people are giving them these wonderful opportunities to see the world. These men have started to live again because of you. You gave them countless memories that will last for the rest of their lives. Thank you for sharing their adventure with us.
I think Babu found his heaven on earth here. I love watching the happiness and wonder on their faces. It's a beautiful thing. Why did Sarru not join this adventure? He definitely would have loved it too.
I hand it to these guys for taking that trip. I don't blame Raeen for getting sick. Those roads look dangerous, and I had the sensation of difficult breathing from the elevation just watching! Absolutely jaw-dropping video! Very grateful to the whole team for taking us on this adventure! Beautiful!
If Raeen and the other men in the cast and crew think they might have trouble with motion sickness in future journeys, I'd recommend bringing flasks of ginger tea, and if they can be had, ginger cookies. Ginger does wonders for settling the stomach and it tastes good.🙏 Also as Jade H mentioned the altitude, Raeen might have had a touch of altitude sickness. I once went to Yellowstone and although I enjoyed it very much, when I went over a pass of 11,000 feet to get into the park, my stomach and head did a number on me.
There's nothing like your first sight of real mountains, if you've never been. I remember the first time I saw the Rocky mountains rising up from the horizon as I drove west across Canada with my parents.
I will never forget the first time I saw the Alps. We went to Austria in the 1980s for a belated honeymoon. We have been back about ten times, such was the impact it had on us. We took our children too. Mayrhofen is my happy place. 😊
I grew up only about 50 miles from Mt. Hood in the Cascade Range, and my family went up there often. You can see it clearly from much of Portland, too. I don't have a car, and haven't been up there in years. I *loved* this video! I miss being in the mountains so much, and it was like being with them. Awe-inspiring. I felt like I was coming home - even though I'm *at* home. 😄 Mountains are the best.
This is a great adventure! Raheen: "They made a ladder on the mountain" to grow food on. He gets everything so fast. Can't wait for the next chapter of this epic journey to Himalaya.

At 7:23, I was surprised to hear that they saw farming similar to how the ancient Incan people did in the Andes mountains of South America. It’s a genius idea, because of the difference of temperature and weather in the various elevations, they could grow a wide variety of food year round. I should have realized other mountain cultures would have adopted or figured out similar farming tactics by now if they didn’t long ago. In the case of the Incas, I heard they had to carry tons of fertile soil from below the mountain up, in addition to carving a staircase-like step out of the side of the Andes. It was no doubt a daunting task at the time, but well worth the immense effort, which still benefits their descendants and local residents to this day.
Terraced fields are very common in mountainous areas all around the world. I think the first ones I saw were in National Geographic articles. I'll have to look up photos of them in the Andes. East, south and southeast Asia have some beautiful ones. Even the Romans had them! They always look so beautiful. One of my favorite kinds are rice paddy terraces. So vividly green
@@monicapdx Now that you mention it, I remember seeing pictures and a documentary of such rice paddies on a hilly countryside of China. I agree, they are beautiful, almost like hills covered in koi ponds. Still, and while I may not know much about other mountain farming cultures, I still imagine that the farms of the Andes Mountains is immense in scale; even king of mountain farming compared to others. It’s amazing how much diversity of different vegetables, fruits, and other goods they grow there even today. 🤔 Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I admit I may be a little bias.
@@angelicaantezana9114 Not biased, rightfully proud. 🥰 I like the comparison to koi ponds! With the Andes so steep *and* tall, it must have been a monumental task, over centuries as they had to expand. I don't know that much about their crops, except that they developed numerous kinds of potatoes in South America. Which is also amazing when you consider how many people all over the world those alone have fed. True gold, along with cocoa, corn (maize for the Europeans), tomatoes, and all the ones I don't know.
Even if i drove 0 meters by myself that 05:35 overtake was SKECHY as Hell! By the way the explaination how and why the Himalayas are happened , and how the whole Indian landmass moved, and crashing into the asian one should be on the to-do-list, because processing that is a fun mind excercise! Also note: the docomentary-style invterview angles are way better than the forced "look into the camera" !
What an awesome channel, watching the guys reactions to, and taking pleasure from such things as the sound of the running water and all the greenery, is heartwarming, its something we in the west take for granted, we should get out and enjoy nature more.

I love these gentlemen. I wish I could see the world the same way they do.
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I admit I may be a little bias.
Himachal Pradesh. 🙏
Thank you.
Beautiful journey! I love your beautiful country and you guys are great! I watch nearly every day.
this people enjoy the pleasures of life, we all should follow them on this and enjoy nature in a natural way
You are a good man taking them to places that inspire and strike awes. Mountains are truly the best
That's nature at it's finest. Not cutting away or cultivating. We have great forests here in Maine, USA, and these forests are protected forests.
What an awesome channel, watching the guys reactions to, and taking pleasure from such things as the sound of the running water and all the greenery, is heartwarming, its something we in the west take for granted, we should get out and enjoy nature more.
