NativeScript seems like a diamond in the rough. A great solution in terms of tradeoffs, a fairly mature framework, just not that well-used. I've been trying out Tauri mobile, but I think I'll give NativeScript a try.

Could you create a video comparing Kivy to Flutter and React Native. Because, we are thinking to use Kivy for our mobile development, since our other non-mobile applications heavily use Python, so we would want to leverage the Python skills.

What about "write once" if you want one codebase for Android, IOS and a normal website (web app) ? Is Ionic winning there or Flutter is mature enough now for web aps as well? Do Google ever used flutter for a webapp? They created Google Ads with flutter but mobile only versions or also the web version?

To be honest, I prefer flutter. I kind of found it hard to make that transition from React to flutter but all in all I never regretted it considering the type of apps I make are mostly performant intensive and flutter's new impeller engine makes me feel like I can make any app with no limitations. in my view, if you know a bit of java and swift and you code in flutter, you can build apps with native features like apps with widgets on the home screen in a short period of time whiles shipping the same app natively to windows, mac and linux. Now I have even began utilising flutter for embedded systems. I strongly advise programmers not to stay in their comfort zone and explore new Tech.

I'm kind of stay in your tech if it is enough. Sometimes I feel that a new tech just make programmer's busy, while keeping the big company's project safe from freelancer :D

the more problematic in react native is the packages.... Everything need a package and in more cases the packages its a broken... And in another cases the package conflict in another package... basically your code boils down to debugging packages

Doesn't Google also have control over development of the Android phone OS, seems like that would add an advantage to Flutter/Dart as well.

I tried to use Ionic once, but it felt like they were trying to break react and make it work like Angular. It was a terrible experience. I couldn't get a darn thing to render to the screen.

Probably because less people want to code an entire app in C#. It’s a great language, but like Java, it’s more on the verbose side. Like, Android development is a lot more pleasant coding in Kotlin than it is coding in Java.

    Cheers

I don't have a proper reason for this but I hate react-native not because it's complex or anything else. I hate react-native because to even get started with frameworks/libraries support and compatibility is always a problem, some lib or some tool always is outdated and you alone have to implement any feature for yourself.
In case of flutter, it's very easy to setup and once you know the basic building blocks then it's very simple to create widgets or reuse widgets created by some other devs. And mostly no compatibility issues.
Just my 2 cents - React Developer.

a flutter dev will produce an app faster than a react-native dev will. Workflow is smoother. Disadvantage is you need to know Dart
