Love the contrast of vintage looking fabric with the super contemporary watch! Also, more sewing DIYs gives you the option to expand your thrifting to sheets/linen that you can upcycle as sewing fabric! And one can often find notions and things at the thrift store (Evelyn Wood has some vids on eco friendly/thrifted sewing supplies)

While right sides together, after sewing the length of the material, back stitch at the end THEN, turn and BASTE to the fold. Then use a pencil or dowel rod to push the fabric through, then take basting out.
