The elf brow pencil used to be three dollars now it’s six.
The primer were five dollars now they’re 10.
They’ve pretty much double their prices without anyone paying attention.
The one dollar eyeshadow brushes don’t even exist anymore …
I had always noticed that most of their skincare products were in a very small pot in a full size package , sneaky and definitely deceiving, but we do get what we pay for.
The color name on the ELF lip liners is on the cap. Is sooo small, but it's there! :)

It’s interesting to hear your thoughts on the Sun Boss Gloss. I much prefer it to their Glow Reviver lip oil. I love the smell, the colors, and the longevity compared to the lip oil. I have four of the lip oils and they all look the same and don’t last that long. I use them as an overnight lip treatment instead. I think I also prefer the more muted shine of the Sun Boss Gloss being a woman in my mid to late 30s. I reach for it daily and just ordered a second color.
Yeah I don’t particularly like the smell of the lip oils. I think it’s something in the formulation of lip oils generally though for me as the only ones I like have specific scents, covering whatever their natural one is.
My favorite Elf products that I tried and can't stop wearing are:
- Soft Glam Foundation in 21 Light Neutral -> I wore this to a baseball game and it lasted all day
- Cream Glide Lip Liner in Truth Or Bare
- Pout Clout Lip Pluming Gloss Pen in Just Peachy

- Primer infused Matte Powder Bronzer in Tan O Clock -> I had the old packaging but when dropped it shatters
I don’t know what you mean by “all day” when you say the Elf foundation doesn’t last you all day and you wouldn’t reach for it if you knew you needed to have your makeup on all day but that foundation is my everyday all day foundation. All day to me is my entire 8 hour workday. I have not worn it longer than 8 hours but I definitely have worn it for 8 hours a day pretty much every day since I got it about a month ago and I have no complaints. It hasn’t broken down on me once. I do powder my face more than you do and the added powder might be contributing to the long wear of the foundation.
woo just bought the soft glam foundation and was worried it wouldn't get a good review but glad it's in the hit list. I'm excited to try it! Love love love Elf, they're saving me with this inflation going on

Most makeup is ok , eyeshadows need some improvement on formula. I do like the jelly pop primer. I love their eye brow pencil and the elf squeeze me balm in peach ❤
Thanks for trying the lip products, as I was wondering about the glosses. Drugstore-wise, I'm still attached to the Maybelline Lifter Gloss (without the plumping).

The lip liner has the name on the cap, in a super tiny clear sticker. Sometimes on the very end, some on the side of the cap.

The color for the lip liner is on the clear top...you will need a magnifying glass, I used a label maker to label all my pencils. I happen to find them long wearing myself.

FYI - the liners do have the names on the clear cap, at the very top. It's just very difficult to read. Just like the putty blushes always had the name, it was just small and not in an obvious spot...

Elf is so hit or miss for me. I did pick up a lip exfoliater stick the other day that is nice. It's less of a mess than pot lip scrubs, but I'm not a fan of the oil/gloss that it's in so I use it and wipe that off. It will never replace my Mac pot, but it's nice for a quick exfoliation before makeup in the morning. I think the Loreal Lumi Glotion is better than the Elf Halo Glo too.
Oh, thanks for the reviews on the Summer Fridays Butter Balm and Clarins Lip Oil! I picked them up in the Sephora summer lip kit to try and, OMG, soooo good! I think the Summer Fridays is even better than my beloved Laneige lip glosses. It doesn't smell as good, but it lasts quite a bit longer. And, the Clarins...I've only ever used drugstore type lip oils and I will never ever go back. That Clarins Lip Oil is so freaking amazing! My wallet may cry, but my lips look fabulous with it! Lip liner and that oil is perfection!
I still think RARE beauty and REFY are the best eyebrow gels.

I especially enjoy the brush of Refy wand. We could use the brush/comb and then they have that flat side to smash them down .. gives really nice laminated hold.
I have the ELF. It’s also good but not as good as the other two IN MY HUMBLE OPINION😬😉

Essence is also gonna come out with bronzing drops, It’s Essence so it’s going to be very affordable (which we love) in comparison to other brands. If you’re gonna get your hands on it, I would love to hear your thoughts about it 💗🎀

I usually wear the Brown in Blinc and the ELF Brown is barely visible on me. I do like the formula though.

Ardell! I have tried them ALL. I didn't like the ELF or Physician's Formula. There's also the OG Got2Bglued HAIR gel in the yellow squeeze tube.
