This is a much simpler technique than the one I used, but if you don't want to composite everything afterwards, you can do this with a single render using view layers! :)
I was gonna say lmao. Great vid but I have a pet peeve about the texture of cards. Alot of tcg cards do not have the same texture as playing cards at all. I was screaming "NO STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING". Great vid though.

Really nice. The ray effect make it pop out.
This video is criminally underrated. Amazing work
😃 Awesome work, man!! Thanks for showing us your process here. Super impressive!!
I want it all.
Maybe a tutorial step by step?
Looks great! I’ve been wanting to do something similar for a while now. Thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Pretty sick. I like how you show your mistakes then right after how you fixed it. Not enough do that.
Good video. Blender used well. reminds me of north of the boarder style.
Thank you!!
The card turned out really cool, but I think the background inside the card instead of white if it were a landscape would look better.
This is so awesome dude
great job!
damn! this is awesome, now i wanna try and make something similar
Nicely done my dude!
This is awesome, teach me davinci ! To do stuff like that
Very great video and render. Just a small detail: pokemon cards are smooth finish, meaning that you do not need the canvas texture!

Never used Blender before, doing some tutorials to learn it now. How long would it take for me to be able to achieve something like this?
Can you share where you got the playing card "canvas" texture? I'm looking for this exact thing!
