- I recently bought one of these embossing mats from Sissix, and after using them with my small collection of dies, I thought about what else I could emboss.
I came up with 7 things you can use this mat with so You can stretch your supplies!

For cutting out Dies of you were to get some wire cutting jewellery pliers and maybe wear a pair of protective glases and the Dies should cut out fine. Also if there's any sharp edges you can sand/file that area down.

Tried embossing the very small key’s that comes with some novelty keepsake boxes or regular miniature key’s of different shapes and sizes; would make great cards like”you stole the key to my heart “.or watch some of the videos in “how to use the New Stampin Up Embossing Mat. I also used to cut out basic shapes in different sizes (cut several of each shape and layer them depending on how deep you want to see your Embossing to stand out) you can also place a silicone mat between your projects and the clear acrylic plates to protect your card stock more. The possibilities are endless; keep enjoying what you’re doing!

Jenniffer Macguire once gave the tip to use swiffer duster sheets to collect the little wire parts while cutting dies, she presses one end of it into the sheets while she were cutting.

Crafty Max you don’t have to, I’m just a late bloomer in embossing, and die cutting 😊 I tried using the pad in my Cuttlebug in the layers that was recommended but it didn’t cut all the way through, so not sure if I’m using it right or what. Thank you so much for the reply ☺️
The Feathered Hag it’s good if it doesn’t cut all the way through! I would use what the cuttlebug needs for embossing and the mat and maybe so paper if u need as a shim! Good luck!
