You missed two trades involving the #1 overall pick: 1983 and 2004. The Colts had the #1 overall pick in 1983 (they drafted John Elway who had no intention of signing with them) and traded with the Broncos. One of the pieces the Colts got in that deal was Chris Hinton. In 2004, the Chargers had the #1 overall pick (they drafted Eli Manning who like Elway before him had no intention of signing with the team that drafted him) and traded with the Giants (who drafted Philip Rivers who was part of that trade).
Bears definitely won the blockbuster trade over the Panthers especially because they added another receiver target for Justin Fields and they’re having quite the offseason they desperately needed!
Too early to say that, what if the Panthers QB becomes an incredible player and Fields flames out in the coming years?? It's all going to come down to how good the respective QBs will be and no one knows that yet.
The Panthers added Thielen and Chark already to Marshall. All they need to do now is draft another receiver in the second or third round. The Bears still in trouble defensively. I like the Panthers in this deal.
The Goff trade went well for both teams because Stafford got his ring. Goff lead the Lions to there first playoff win since 1991 against Stafford’s Rams at home. He also lead the Lions to there second NFC Championship since the post Super Bowl era.

Panthers did lose stud DJ Moore, but in their offseason they did sign Miles Sanders, Adam Thielen, and DJ Chark. None of these guys are even close to Moore and all three probably won’t match Moore’s production. But given the great year Miles is coming off, chark’s potential, and Adam Thielen veteran experience I think the offense is more well rounded with a 1st overall qb and multiple good weapons as opposed to only 1 elite weapon on offense. Still was a tough price to pay to get the 1st overall pick
