Bought Hobby Mio stainless steel nipper last year. Best nipper I have ever owned. It being rust-free is a big selling point for me. Some of the nippers that I bought before tends to rust easily, causing rust stains to stick onto the plastic parts when I cutting it off the runner.
My main concern is durability. I bought a cheaper single bladed nipper and it cut really well for about 3 kits and then the looser tolerances and inferior machine work showed as it dulled and cut less cleanly. I relugated it to first cut off sprue duties, saving my GodHand for the second cut.
If we can't use these nippers for clear parts, then what nipper can we use? Some kits nowadays comes with clear parts in big runners..some parts have big gates and using standard double blade nippers can cause the plastic to crack..
Have you ever used nipper hobby mio hm-105? If you have, do you think it works well? Right now I'm thinking about buying one, but I'm still not sure because I've never seen anyone review this nipper model before. I'm not good in English, but I hope you will understand on my sentence
been using my tamiya gold label lasted since 2007. only recently changed and tried single blade. gotten madworks' one as its reviewed to be much more durable. slightly worse performance compared to mr. hobby's and dspiae's but i like it as it didnt break even on heavy duty cuts.
Well I bought the evolution pair (the ultra thin) in early December for like 35 bucks and honestly I can’t say anything bad. I’ve cut a few MGs a couple RGs and a handful of HGs and I don’t have a complaint! It cuts like a hot knife through butter every time! I don’t own godhands but I don’t know how it can get much better than this imo and for 15-20 dollars cheaper.
Yeah. The SPN-120 are the premier from Godhand, and the one that everyone refers to. Godhand sells a wide variety of nippers from beginners to top of the line. The pair you are using in this video is just a regular nipper from Godhand, not their best.

Isn't the keroro a double blade nipper? Kinda giving the advantage to the hobby mio single edge ones. Should've compared to the 5.0s
Yep the godhand is an entry level nipper
Compare is to Dspiae STA 3.0 & Godhand SPN-120

can we do direct comparison with Godhand SPN120 (blue one)and PN120 (red one)?
blue one is to cut on thinner plastic and red one for thicker plastic

Nice hope to get one soon.
Great video!! The single blade looks so nice but I'm interested in the Ultra Thin :)

I found my Madworks very comparable to my GodHand SPN.

The main selling point for me would be the red color, and I'm a sucker for red colored items.
Sold! Hahaha
