I would like to thank my grand dad for letting me play this entire album in his car during a road trip when no other adult would.
You're Grandpa is amazing.
My family let me play the album when we played a family game. They said stuff like "lol what's he saying", "u know he's screaming and not singing right" and "my ears hurt" while laughing at the jokes they all made about it. My brother then turned it off when I quickly went out of the room and everyone acted like nothing happened when I came back.
I'm probably never going to show them my music again.

In my opinion, this is one of the greatest songs they've ever put out there hands down. I can't even think up a word to describe how this song makes me feel.

On my opinion PTV is one of the best bands there is. Just the lyrics have saved so many lives and inspired so many people, including myself. They are truly amazing people despite what anyone says.

I went and saw Pierce the Veil in concert in myrtle beach November 15th of this year. When I got home, I found my brother dead on the bathroom floor from an overdose. I remember making him listen to this song 10 years ago, when I was 18, to let him know his addiction was hurting me. I wanted him to feel like it’s not uncommon and he wasn’t alone in his pain.
Funny how things can circle back around. Now I lay in the bed he slept in listening to this alone. “Brother, promise you won’t ever leave me.”
I'm so sorry for your loss.. I can't imagine how you must feel. But I promise you this, he knows that you love him! And he kept all that love from when you first showed him this song. I know for a fact that he remembers how much you care. And he wouldn't want you to be in pain. It's going to be okay eventually. One day, all the memories will make you smile instead of cry. ❤

For all the people who are telling the others that cut; You don't need to be rude about it... Honestly if someone is cutting, being a jerk doesn't help. They're in a place right now where they don't know what else to do. If you're gonna be mean, go some place else. I mean, yeah, they shouldn't be cutting. But that's because their lives are actually worth more than they think. And they shouldn't cut because there are people out there who really care, and are willing to listen when they're upset. But sitting behind your keyboard and knocking someone down for any reason is sad and pathetic.

I'm gonna be honest; I have never heard of Jason Butler, or his band letlive. But if he sounds like this on his songs, then by all means, he is one of THE best I have ever heard from this generation.
After all these years, I always come back to PTV even after listening to so many latest music and artists. They are timeless.
I remember when I first listened to this song, I was reading the lyrics.... I started crying when I read, "Am I the only one that thinks that you should stay alive ??" It immediately made me think of all those people trying to get me to stop cutting

Pierce The Veil, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sleeping With Sirens are ones that I prefer to obsess over alone. I don't think people understand how talented I think they are??

happy 10th year anniversary to one of my favorite album of all time. I got to know Ptv from a friend back in 2012 when they showed me King for a Day music video. I went on to listen the whole album and fell in love with them instantly. The songs in this particular album has helped me got through the tough times in college.

I think this song is about someone wanting to commit suicide, but can't bring themself to do it because they don't want to hurt the people who love them. They are literally tangled with their great escape from reality. Great escape= Suicide. Just a theory e.e

Beautiful Odds I don't remember where, but I remember hearing that this song is about how mike felt when Vic was suicidal and how he didn't want to lose him. Also, Johnny was a drug addict so he wanted to stop. " I let you down and I started to run never meant to be your pain. Oh my god, what have I become?" This is how they felt that they let everyone down without the intention and they are realizing the repercussions of their actions of others. "Can I just have one more taste just to make it through the day" is Vic wanting to self harm and Johnny wanted to do drugs.
