some very sweet find for a huted out Park, haha. That civil War token is awesome. I have never seen one of those either. Well done. Looking forward to meeting you on the upcoming Larry's hunt. Rob.
Thanks Rob! There was a lot of iron in the park. The land owner right next to the park told me he has seen a hundred different people who have detected that park. Their house has been in the family since 1962. Another home owner at another spot on the park told me the Indians used to come to this park from the upper peninsula and winter there. Didn’t find any Indian artifacts. 😞 I’m looking forward to the fall hunt and meeting everyone!
Hey SS congratulations on the civ token what an awesome find. Congratulations on your other finds too, looks like your in a good area. Until next time GL&HH *Chris*
Thank you Copperhead Metal Detecting! The curse of the civil war gold show filmed and episode at General Pritchard’s house in Allegan that aired a month or so ago. Hard to say who lost the token, but it could have been lost by someone who helped capture Jefferson Davis.
Nice day out, some great finds... Funny what you can find in those hunted out parks. :) I still find good old stuff in our hunted out parks as well, Keep it up! Good Luck & Happy Huntin' Lee
Uncle and Nieces Coin Roll Hunting just found your comment in my spam folder on RUclips. Not sure why some of the comments end up as being spam. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@SilverSleuth I'm in Hamilton, great history in that area!been in the hobby for about a year now,100% addicted, love it,do u no of any local clubs or groups of diggers,I've only met 1 other person to hunt with!
@Del Wieghmink. There is a group that meets in Plainwell every month. I can find the days and time if you are interested. Hamilton is an old area with a lot of history. Historicmapworks.com and historicaerials.com are 2 webpages I use for doing research. Also google search Hamilton history or your township history. 😉
Civil War token is a great find. Well done. That's the second civil war token I've seen found in the last two weeks. Square Nail Squirrel found one on his channel in Ohio but it had a different style.
I'm in the Ohio valley and I found one a year or so ago with a Cheap detector on our land. We have heard stories of soldiers buried here so I'm hoping I'm on an amazing spot. I just picked up my nox 800 last week and cant wait to find more.
@tintdude69 there were a few civil war battles in Ohio. Look up Morgan’s Raids and you will see where Morgan went across Ohio. I’m headed to Portland, OH to metal detect next weekend. You will LOVE the 800! I have 2 of them and it is a coin finding machine.
Sweet hunt brother - enjoyed it!
RobFindsTreasure thanks brother! This was one of my best days of metal detecting.
Hoping to get out and hunt alongside you some day!
Great finds in this hunt, Mike!

Thanks Lee! I swing an Equinox 800. What are you swinging?
I have an old Garrett AT Pro. I just wanted something waterproof so I could hunt in the Oregon rain... or accidentally fell into a creek. LOL
I have several friends who swing the Garrett AT Pro. They do really well with it,
Just goes to prove that no place is truly hunted out. They may be deep but they are there still. Nice finds.
That’s for sure! I have a return hunt planned already.
Very cool!
Thank you NA.TV! This is one of my best finds so far with a detector.
Great video

Thank you All Metal Mike! It was a first for me and I am STOKED! Didn’t expect to find anything in this park that has been heavily hunted.
@@SilverSleuth You should be stoked. I love that type of unique find, whether its a coin or a relic. Thanks for sharing.
