You should try taking it down to the jacket and insert a fluted one. Im just trying to sound like I know anything about this and give you pointers like everyone else lol thats cool God Bless brother
Great choice of music from "Raising Arizona", one of my favorite movies. That was a great video, really liked the concept. Add a swab of clear fingernail polish to the primer and they should stay in pretty well.
Hey Swede, Yes I'm not going to a video shooting myself with it for sure. I have been watching your videos on your new place. Very nice my friend. I need to do the same thing. Take care....
Hello Al, I actually cut the primer hole a 1/32 over so they would come out easier. A 1/4" hole will hold the shotgun primer in place but you have to push them out with a rod ounce fired. Take care my Friend
I see someone already left "that's gonna leave a mark" LOL! I have some OLD Hummingbird .22s that work off of nothing but a primer load. Smells like ammonia after I fire one. They will kill a squirrel, and they are silent! That could be an advantage if you were to put in a more solid projectile. Cool project!
I was wondering if there’s a rifle built to use .209 primers. There’s a really unreliable derringer made by pedersoli. It’s crap and it’s expensive. What’s the model of the .22?
What I have found is when you push the wax all the way back to where it touches the primer, it acts as a little extra “glue” so the primer doesn’t come out or fly back and jam up the action of the gun. You would need a rod that’s smaller than the bullet diameter
I hate you! You have all the good toys. Many thanks for showing what you are up to. As tough as it was I would much rather hear that song than your hoarse cigarette stained vocal cords. Sorry but I have no tips on how to do this project better. It was just plain sweet!
THAT is so friggin cool....Pretty simple to reload after the initial work.

I made a few for my 45 single action but i am lazy i bought mine. And i did shoot my self in the knee doing fast draw. They smart a bit but no damage.
Ouch!! that'll leave a mark, nice job I like the little lathe, there is just something special about tools with a purpose. Take care.

So a 3/8th hole? How did you cut the seat for the extra skirt of the .209 primer?
Glue sticks work great for a 45
Are they any cleaner?
my new ringtone.
Thanks Min...
Thank you my Friend...

This Is cool man. How Could You Do This And Make It So The Primers Stay In? Thanks For Showing Us.
