- Hello everyone! Today I will be will be sharing with you the pearl cell technique mixed with textural art using only black and white! This is something that I have wanted to do for quite some time so I'm super excited to have tried it and to share it with you. I have learned lot and will be sharing with you some more info in some upcoming videos of what I learned and what I would do differently. I just have to say...this was such an enjoyable project to work on and I'm really looking forward to combining these techniques in the future again.

Materials I used in this demonstration:
1 - 16" Wood Round
DecoArt Metallics Extreme Sheen: Obsidian
Amsterdam: Oxide Black
Krylon Flat White Spray Paint
NEW WHITE PEARL CELL RECIPE:
3 Parts Flood Floetrol - US
1.5 Part DecoArt Satin Enamel - Pure White
1.5 Part Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss
1 Part Blickrylic Student Paint - Titanium White
NEW COLOR PEARL CELL RECIPE:
3 Parts Flood Floetrol - US
2 Parts Behr 7300 Satin Enamel - untinted
1-2 Parts paint of choice (or .5 part fliuid paint)
1.5 Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss
Pouring Medium for PUDDLE/POUR OVER/DUTCH POUR paints:
50% Floetrol 50% Golden GAC 800 (or Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss)
Puddle & Dutch Pour Paints mixed 1 pt paint to 5 pts PM and water to consistency (tube paint approximately 1 part water, fluid paint no water) (This is the ratio for highly pigmented paints like Golden, Amsterdam, Pebeo, etc)
No silicone used for cells. It was all the layering of the paints that made those cool effects.
