This song and "The Light" make my heart happy. There's this guy in my life who has completely turned my life around. We began talking shortly after I was released from a mental hospital from another suicide attempt. He has seen my inner demons and helped me cope with them. I honestly think that without him I'd be six feet under. I have a shitty family, and I've only ever had two best friends. one passed away a few years ago and the other passed this past July. And the special person was there for me to grieve over my best friends death. He has been with me through thick and thin. It's been almost Two years and I havent Attempted suicide in almost a year. I am truly grateful for him. I don't think he even knows how grateful I am. This song accurately describes what his love has done to me.

Most people use this for relationships but for me i used to play it while I was pregnant. I just got out of an abusive relationship( mentally and physically abusive) I got depressed wanted to die. I left him when I was preggers and I basically became a better person completely for him, so becuase hes mine, iv recovered from the abuse I thought I could never escape. My son saved me before he was born so this song still has that meaning to me ❤️
