The one thing I have learned is that women should teach their daughters to listen and follow the advice of their parents. The reason this lady experienced so much problems is because of rebellion. Can you imagine what her life would have been like if she were obedient to her mom??? I have had my share of rebellion and always paid very bitterly. Women should especially try their best to have a good relationship with their fathers, so that they can know the ways of men and be able to discern their choices of spouse.

I am Luhya. Concerning 'Chira', I was having a conversation with my grandma recently, and she did tell me something very similar to what the guest said. The difference comes in hapo kwa the cleansing part.
According to my grandma, an elderly woman has to come, wash, and pray before the philanderer can interact with the child. There is no goat or money given in exchange, and to be completely honest, I don't necessarily agree with this whole ritual, especially the giving of anything in exchange for prayers. Don't get me wrong, I believe that there's something to be said about our culture and traditions, but at the end of the day, Jesus paid the ultimate prize and anyone who tells you otherwise should be treated with the contempt they deserve.
For context, allegedly, as far as my grandma is concerned, my step-uncle who was always sickly and mentally challenged, died in his teens after living a very hard life coz of this.

Purity, sorry for the challenges you went through and happily surmounted them by His grace.
For a start, the reason why you are forever smiling is because, one it is your personality and secondly, it is God's purpose in your life.
It is the skill that helps you manage your daily routines. The smile helps you connect to the society.
5 months in your family home with a man you call your guy and your parents or siblings couldn't raise any issue? How were they calling him or treat him? In your parents home, you were the bread winner and still your family could tolerate all that? I am mot judging you but alerting the listeners on how to create safety nets in their life. You were young abd naive. It was not your cause purity. It is well with you. The blame is squarely on your family especially your parents.
"Simu ya mwanamme ichungulie......" Wise or unwise action? Hold there ladies.
Ladies, as much as purity is narrating her heart wrenching story with humour, please purpose to discover yourself(self-awareness) thereafter discover your values and start practicing self-care. Outside that, you will find yourself in the same predicament and even worse. Like I said, no one should judge Purity, at all but the truth and caution is important to practice safety.
Let me be candid albeit politely:
    1. There is a stereotype that Luhya men are "ROMANTIC". It just that, stereotype. Did Purity lost her values totally because of one single thing-Bed gymnastics?? Fill up the gaps fans as you confirm it from her "5 months" dry spell!!
    2. "...niliisha amu na wewe" Purity's guy was affected by the past experience she had on rape but because he noted she is ready to host him, pay him for his game and acted desperate, he opted to stay with her for relevance as he looked for someone that ignites him-chemistry
    3. Could these rapists have damaged this innocent lady's genitalia to an extent that her grip got damaged? After the first encounter twins happened and only that made him stick in but on bed, just like the most real promiscuous Luhya guys sue was not satisfying him? But none the less the guy was an opportunistic manipulator of doom. On Purity, we can't tell what real happened. Ladies we men love three things, respect, appreciation and good "bed game". Anything else doesn't matter to a man. To a man, looks alone doesn't matter. To a man, the moment you act desperate, you are done.
    4. Men hardly care less about the things they speak or do to a woman who lost her values by acting desperate. A woman that feeds a man is 90% desperate or buying his bed game or a certain fettish. By her acts, Purity unknowingly sacrificed her values totally to please a man. The only positive outcome is she is still very beautiful, honest and down to earth. She is a wife material by all intents and purposes. Purity I affirm you fully. Take heart and take your time to discover who you are. Self-awareness is very important especially to someone like you that has passed through stuff. God still loves you Purity.
    5. Purity, sex is not enough. A "REAL" man must have an all-round values at different percentages. No one is perfect out here. After Self-awareness Purity, sit back, review and start practicing self-care. Forgive the Luhya man. He is still the sperm donor. Mistake is called a mistake when you repeat it. Close your legs for sometime until you go through atleast 10 counseling sessions. By the way if those twins were boys, he wouldn't have left them with you. That's their custom. Children are left with the father.
Yvonne Kawira, by the way you have from a rookie to a real professional journalist. Keep on doing the good work for God has something special to your destiny.
Ladies, when you are told the truth, take it politely and work on any tip that helps you. What found Purity can happen to any innocewoman put there. God loves all of you.

This beautiful lady, because of her problems in past, like rape, she unfortunately believed, that was the only man who could marry her, she feared out of marriage knowing she may never be married. Ladies, being raped at young age, is never your problem. Just look forward, understanding, loving, supportive( co-operative), common goal oriented. Doing those with open heart, not for fear of being left, as a cover to show that "you are also married" but for prosperity of family, and the next generation. May God bless you!

This chick missed the point, she needs to do research on narcissistic abuse else she will get into another one. Saying men don’t tell your wives uneisha hamu na yeye….that’s textbook narcissist move to destroy your self esteem…saying he had not moved on from the ex, chances are very high the ex dumped him initially he was love bombing her and and when she dumped him, he was hovering her….she still takes responsibility for things that had nothing to do with her but manipulative tactics..

Again, women don't baby sit men!
Do not financially provide for a man, unless it is an emergency, job loss.
If a man cannot pay rent for a year plus, sasa what is he good for? Noooo
Sorry you had to go through all that at your cost, and at the hands of a broken man.
