It's the complete opposite in my case... I was playing a Warriors roleplay on Roblox, my character being a WindClan warrior named Rosespots. By the time I had finished making Rosespots, the rest of WindClan - 3 or 4 cats, to be exact, oof - had disappeared. I read the chat and it seemed they were interacting with ThunderClan, so I went to the island where Gatherings are held. Nobody was there. So, I teleported to the ThunderClan camp to find the rest of WindClan standing casually in there. One cat I remember was dark brown, and the medicine cat, named Nectarbelly. She was "putting deathberries" into a bird on the fresh-kill pile because ThunderClan had the most cats and WindClan had the least. So, one of the kits, I'm guessing Coyotekit, noticed Nectarbelly putting the deathberries into the bird and started alerting her (i'll say her, sorry if coyotekit is a tom) entire Clan to it. Then comes the leader, Finchstar. After telling us to get out multiple times and having her Clan attack us (it obviously didn't work, we weren't even in roleplay) she decided to say "But that's how it works in the books. ThunderClan has the most cats." I took advantage of this and told her that ThunderClan is nice to WindClan in the books. Of course, she didn't listen, and told everyone "Rosespots and Nectarbelly are NPCs." We were the only two WindClan cats left... And what Roblox game has NPCs that walk, talk, and respond perfectly to what you say? Soon after, she resorted to having ThunderClan retreat to RiverClan. Soon after, I joined the ThunderClan team and became leader. Everyone told me that I wasn't leader, but I said that if Finchstar was part of RiverClan now, and Amberwing, the deputy, too, I could be leader. And I took position as leader so that I could get everyone staying to join WindClan, some people stayed, but I didn't know how to get them to join WindClan... so I left the server.
In summary, everything good happens to one character (aka Bushfern in this case) and characters like Hawknose get the most pathetic life because one character... Bushfern. **Cough cough** .. has their life completely perfect with no obstacle. Of course, this doesn't always happen. But in, let's say, Firestar's life, pretty much everything goes perfect for him and he was very few flaws.
Green cough is DEADLY between books, not just dangerous. So...of course Bushfern (that's like Twigbranch, in my opinion) becomes leader while Hawknose watches from Starclan. Oh--wait--from the dark forest

Maybe you get it from your great grandfather who was a great leader! Reality: Apprentice: Mentor, can I please go hunting? Mentor: Are the elders tick and flea free? Apprentice: Yep! I checked them over and over! Mentor: Does the Medicine cat need any herbs or help? Apprentice: Nope! I helped all morning and collected herbs all yesterday! Mentor: Did the nursery get new moss yet? Apprentice: Oh, yes! I was collecting all night, and I dried it all morning and noon! I even collected some feathers! Mentor: Ok, did you eat? Apprentice: No, not yet. I’ve been so busy I haven’t eaten since yesterday! Can I have something small before hunting to keep up my energy? Mentor: No, not until you’ve fed the elders, Queens, the medicine cat, and the leader. Apprentice: What?! All together that makes 10 cats! I can’t gather all that prey before tonight! It’s the afternoon! Mentor: The clan is first, bird brain. Apprentice: But I can’t hunt that much on an empty belly! My hunger will scare everything away! Can I at least hunt something while I’m out? Or at least get Sunpaw to help? Mentor: You have been training for 1 week, two days, 13 hours and 6 minutes. You should be able to survive. Apprentice: I had one tiny mouse in the last 48 hours, I haven’t gotten more than a hour total of sleep, I’ve been working all day and night, and you expect me to catch ten pieces of prey with a rumbling belly and half asleep limbs? A badger could sneak up on me, and a dead rabbit could hear me! Mentor: Your fault for not training enough. Also, can you go on the morning and noon patrol tomorrow? Oh, and Snakepaw is ill, so can you go to the gathering as well? Apprentice: I would go training if you didn’t make me do all the chores! My sister has been training everyday, and I haven’t been once! You taught me to hunt, but that’s it. Also, how will I go on patrol tomorrow if I’m using all night and morning hunting? Y'know, after watching this a few times and reading Hawknose's story on amino, I'm starting to think that the prophecy "Hawk will turn green" was not about him getting greencough, but about him being green with envy towards his brother
I know this is a comedy, but Hawknose has been through a lot. His mom wants him dead, his mentor criticized him, he got a terrible name, his crush broke up with him for Bushfern, and he got sent to the dark forest for trying to give Bushstar a bad life as revenge for his pain. I think Hawknose should be given more sympathy. Comment if you agree or not.

I actually made a character who’s mentor was just like Hawknose’s and he made him eat nothing but half of what he catches but he was a terrible hunter. But because of this lack of food he ended up taking food from twolegs and when the clan finds out, he leaves to become a kittypet
