Would be interesting to see something like a rhino modified by him, he's a really skilled painter but I think he's an even more patient modeler, I wonder how he would handle all that beautiful exaggerate detailing he does while working on models
The rust effects are so insanely convincing. This kind of work blows my mind. (And I'm no painting novice, mind you - there are two Golden Demons on my shelf.)
I know right? He's frustratingly good at rust. If you go all the way back to his first videos on the ball tank he goes into way more detail how he does it.
That door got cast aside, I love how I can clearly picture what went through his head when he bumped that door to the side after it started to get in the way.
Every single time i see you doing a billion steps of weathering i start feeling insecure about just using drybrushing and simple mud c: Great work, it just makes me happy when i see you upload!
Washes, pin-washes, and dry-brushing aren't difficult and are very subtle except where you emphasize them. Tell yourself a story like our host, and apply weathering to reflect that on your model.
Haven't built anything for several years, other than an original issue MPC Star Wars speeder bike I did during our second Covid lockdown. Really enjoy your stuff, especially since it's way beyond anything I can do.
I must say, that post-shading looks great as the core of the weathering! The dust really helped to enhance it. The aqualine took me back a few years, keep up the great work!
Very nice results. I'm a fan of post-shading. I probably lean more towards post than pre-shading. Both are useful, but; it's nice to see how someone like you approaches it. Very well done.
One of the nice things about armour is that you can build the kit and then spend as much time as you want finishing it. No one sees your car's engine unless the hood is open and no one will see much of your airplane's cockpit with the canopy closed or a pilot filling it. But everything you do to finish a tank is right there for everyone to see.
I've been watching this series with interest as the only surviving A7V, Mephisto, is housed in the Queensland Museum which is about 20min from where I live. The first time I saw it was in the late 70's when I was 8 or 9.
I think it might be fun if you made a tank with a shell imbedded in the armor, if you google that, there’s a few pretty cool looking photos and it looks fun to model
Tohle už není modelařina, ale umění .... musím říci že jste mojí velkou inspirací a pokud se jednou alespoň z 20% přiblížím tomuto ... budu spokojen, prostě děkuji ...
muh friend. I've been watching your videos for a good while now. not exactly sure what the first video was, but it was way before the ball tank. you never disappoint and are a hell of an artist. thank you for sharing your skill for us to enjoy.
Hi Martin your model is just amazing love the weathering you are a true artist when it comes to modelling and you are a great teacher to us modellers so thank you very much for all you teach buddy. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧
Hey Uncle, thanks for posting. I'm not too keen on the highlighed rivets, In my opinion the gentle shading made them look better, but I suspect it looks better IRL. Also, it's your build. I'm just happy to be along for the ride. Keep it up!
It’s a feels good Friday and Nightshift drops a video on us. This day couldn’t get any better. Also watching you weather a model, is like watching a chef cook a steak. 👌👀
Hello Martin, How do you do? I was wondering about your leg, have you 100% recovered? Take care my friend. And now, I’m going to watch that video! Cheers.
Boxiness, colours and the numerous rivets gives me a real steam punk vibe in your latest project. Loving it, such awesome talent. Ever thought about giving a fantasy build a go? Cheers.
One thing that would be useful is a marking for scale; like a line that's 1cm long. I feel like it would give us a better understanding of how small everything actually is. Also, happy friday!
Think you are for getting the tank would rock and roll and lift up and down So front of tank would be muddy And mud splashes up the sides Good build enjoyed it very much Thank you
more and more I wanted to see Night Shift making warship models... maybe a Yamato-class or an Iowa-class? for their dioramas it would be interesting for the Yamato be in the dock and for the Iowa... well ofc become the museum
Hey Night Shift, have you looked into using one of the Ammo Shaders for your pre dusting coat? wondering if it might be worth looking at for those trying to follow your example and have a hard time mixing paints and thinning like you do.
Hey, Uncle. Great video as always! Is there a way other than patreon to support you? Unfortunately patreon is not available in my country. Keep up the great work and looking forward to next video and I hope your house renovation project is going great.
The faded vividness of the camo just convinces me further that Night Shift would rock a Warhammer 40k or other sci fi tank
Would be interesting to see something like a rhino modified by him, he's a really skilled painter but I think he's an even more patient modeler, I wonder how he would handle all that beautiful exaggerate detailing he does while working on models
Get him a BaneBlade. Or better yet, get him a Hellhammer.
His skills would truly shine doing anything krieg/forgeworld honestly
I did my baneblade full nightshift and I love it. So many opportunities for weld lines and armour texture. Dooooo iiiiit!
A walker would be interesting to see, like a sentinel or a dread. Also an armour modelers take on power armour would also be interesting.
This is one of the few channels I don’t spend tapping right side of video constantly. I watch your video in its entirety.
Great job on the tank. It will be interesting to see the finished diorama
Didn't know two weeks could be sooooooo long!!
Wonderful weathering, first class 👍
Every photo of this tank is black and white or sepia -Its so colourfull great work -Thankyou
even tho it was just the weathering, every one of your videos are worth the wait
Oh uncle, I missed you! Happy Friday. I started drooling when I saw notice!
This Tank is Fabulous! But I hope you realize that your patience, especially when Chipping, is the Envie Of The World!!!
Bonjour à vous de Bordeaux en France. Superbe réalisation et un travail de weathering au top. 👍👏👏.
Hello you help get through the week
There's some brilliant tips for us mere weekend modellers here. Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos.
Outstanding
A lovely finish to your sad, abandoned tank. Your finish has it reaching out and speaking to us of better days and a happy crew.
Cheers!
Love this instead of 5 videos of weathering sir! Epic work as always!
My goodness you have such a steady hand painting! And lots of patience painting all those bolts
I've been waiting for this all week!
That door got cast aside, I love how I can clearly picture what went through his head when he bumped that door to the side after it started to get in the way.

I will be looking forward to your figure painting project. I think I will learn something new from it 😊
Thank you for the great video - I immediately had to start painting all the rivets on my Aufklärer 38 (t)!
Haven't built anything for several years, other than an original issue MPC Star Wars speeder bike I did during our second Covid lockdown. Really enjoy your stuff, especially since it's way beyond anything I can do.
I love the A7V and this series has been awesome to watch. Hopefully all the IRL stuff goes well, home renovations can get very stressfull.
Thanks for sharing I am Taiwanese and I love your videos
another masterpiece!
someone told me to watch you and ave enjoyed it and subscribed
Just so sweet

У этого танка такая площадь под эффекты ) Потрясающий результат 👍

I did that on my IS-7 :)
when not in combat the crew regularly rode outside on top of the tank which could also explain the dirt on the upper surfaces.
looks amazing!!!
Unbelievable. I have learnt so much that I had to write it down on a list. Thank you so much!
Once again you NEVER let us down with your skills.I keep learning and learning more every week.Awesome finish to this kit.
Looks great! Looking forward to the completed diorama.
You should do a St.Chammond at some point. So you have the 3 biggest WWI tanks done. That'd look great on one shelf
Tohle už není modelařina, ale umění .... musím říci že jste mojí velkou inspirací a pokud se jednou alespoň z 20% přiblížím tomuto ... budu spokojen, prostě děkuji ...
So what language is that?
@@lucasschulz3572 Czech ... very similar to native language of Night Shift - Slovak
I would like to say something you inspired me to build my first model and is been so fun and I’m only 9
Finish it and then try something new. Try to imagine what it will look like, and then do it!
I don’t care about homeostasis I’m watching Night Shift weather an A7V!
Work of art. My ghast is well and truly flabbered.
Now I'm curious of how you are going to weather your living room. When is the video of that going up?
Super inspiring.
Really good as always
Nice job! I will be trying these techniques on my models!
Wow. Beautiful job, Martin! 👍
So nice, amazing artwork .Thank you so much .
muh friend. I've been watching your videos for a good while now. not exactly sure what the first video was, but it was way before the ball tank. you never disappoint and are a hell of an artist. thank you for sharing your skill for us to enjoy.
Awesome job as always! I'd love to see you do something like a Leopard 1, Chieftain, or M60 Patton next. Always loved those tanks.
Excellent
Hi Martin your model is just amazing love the weathering you are a true artist when it comes to modelling and you are a great teacher to us modellers so thank you very much for all you teach buddy. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧

Maybe apply chips next to the bolts, simulating the damaged paint by the maintenance
Finally out of school so i can watch this when it drops
I’m currently watching this in science class
Great result with simple techniques, nice job as always!
It’s a feels good Friday and Nightshift drops a video on us. This day couldn’t get any better. Also watching you weather a model, is like watching a chef cook a steak. 👌👀
Looking amazing man, it just became 3D! Loving this build! 😊👍
Pay 5 bucks to be one of the legendary Night Shift Workers? - Fuck Yeah! 😎🤝
Really great video, all of that really brought the tank to life!
Haha, just realized the vision ports in the Bach be like 👀. Looks great as always
Hello Martin,
How do you do? I was wondering about your leg, have you 100% recovered?
Take care my friend.
And now, I’m going to watch that video!
Cheers.
Boxiness, colours and the numerous rivets gives me a real steam punk vibe in your latest project. Loving it, such awesome talent. Ever thought about giving a fantasy build a go? Cheers.
I like how he just knocks the door off
This is the only channel where I hit like before I watch the video
Bravo!
Hi gut.Fantastic Job so far.
It',s impressive to watch your techniques.
Thumbs up for your work and this fantastic looking model.
Great job..
So glad you're back!
Love this! The amazing techniques combined with my all-time fav tank makes this video a winner -- no tank has as much character as the A7V :)
Most impressive attention to details once again, great technique and gorgeous work!👏👏👏
Amazing Diorama 👍👍
That was a long two weeks. Good luck with your remodel, Martin!
I love his Models
beautiful work as always!
One thing that would be useful is a marking for scale; like a line that's 1cm long. I feel like it would give us a better understanding of how small everything actually is. Also, happy friday!
That's what a figure does, give it scale.
Awesome of course we can expect a complete set of videos of you weather effecting the house :)
Wow just Wow ! 👍
sweet!!!
"MA-Frens!" = start of a great weekend
Finały i waited soo long
Think you are for getting the tank would rock and roll and lift up and down So front of tank would be muddy And mud splashes up the sides Good build enjoyed it very much Thank you
Cheers mate! I'd love if you'd do a community post on here if there isn't a video for the week. That way we won't have to wait for nothing.
Try some bigger zvezda model please, i enjoyed the SU-100
more and more I wanted to see Night Shift making warship models... maybe a Yamato-class or an Iowa-class?

Such a nice model
Hey Night Shift, have you looked into using one of the Ammo Shaders for your pre dusting coat? wondering if it might be worth looking at for those trying to follow your example and have a hard time mixing paints and thinning like you do.
I'm considering something like that on the next model, adding pre-dusting to the post-shading and hitting the dust layers with some of those Shaders
Great video, amazing work 🤩
Thank you
Amazing work.
Fantastic!
Wow, wonder how many years it took him of modeling to get to this point? Simply amazing work
Sad to hear that wilder is out of business now, that really sucks. But on a better note for a next model maybe a strv 103?
Looking very nice .
would you consider doing a modern NATO tank in a CARC camouflage? I always think these look really good. great video as always!
So good! I'm just here waiting for you to do an Italian tank in North Africa. 🙏🙏
Friday at 5pm like clockwork. God I love these
Your work is so awesome :)
So great result! Looks soo good! And I'm very interesting, how You replace Wilder products. ;) All the best for You! ;)
Hey, Uncle.
Great video as always! Is there a way other than patreon to support you? Unfortunately patreon is not available in my country. Keep up the great work and looking forward to next video and I hope your house renovation project is going great.
Would love your take on a warhammer imperial knight
