Shun, can you purchase additional hoops for the PE535? I really want to learn how to do Embroidery and getting ready to purchase a machine. I want to be able to do larger than 4x4 but don't to get stock with one that limits me. Please share advice on PE545. SE700, and PE550D.
You’re talented. I have no experience so I’m nervous but you did a good tutorial. I have roommates. Just 4 strangers living together. Will it be loud if I do it in my room?? Also, I want to make sure I’m stitching consistently in the same place of the shirt so I can sell them.. how do you make yourself feel confident about consistent placement ?
Thank you! If you have your door closed that will help with the sound be it’s gonna make noise. I use the marks on the hoop to help with placement and I usually use measuring tape depending on where I’m placing the design
Really great video tutorial as I have just started with this machine and kept wondering how to embroider shirts without it going all the way through LOL. What color is your bobbin thread beneath? Do you use black or white or the colors you are using with each thread?
Awesome! Thank you for your tutorial and review, All Things Shun. I am shopping for an embroidery machine and have been having been perusing the reviews for the Brother PE 535 here on YT and elsewhere. I am a beginner at machine embroidery! I am a fan of Brother products (i.e., sewing and printing), and I think the PE535 will suffice for my needs. :) Thank you again for the tutorial!
I’m looking into purchasing this machine. Just wondering if I’ll be able to embroider custom designs? by custom I’m mean embroidering Pokémon images onto my sweater, t-shirts etc . If yes can you explain how :/. I have experience with sewing, but have zero experience with embroidery :/. Thank you 🙏 ❤
You would have to upload the digitized file to a usb/flash drive, plug in the flash drive to your machine and select the file that you want to embroider. You can embroider on many different types of fabrics
Last question 😅 can you choose the size of thickness? For instance, “power”, will it stitch a skinny spelling of the word or how can you make it thicker kind of like a CAP and BOLD?
You would have to use a software if you want to edit a design. You be limited are far as sizing the design directly on the machine. You can do a 3d/puff to get a raised look
Trying to decide between the PE535 and PE800. I am a sewist, but have some em broidery experience. I've read reviews the PE535 is delicate. Don't want to invest in "the" machine right now, but don't want to worry about the machine being fragile. Your thoughts please.
I haven't had any issues with my pe535... I've actually had more issues with my pe800 with the thread breaking. I just used my pe535 for a order and made 20 patches back to back and had no issues. I fell it is a good and dependable machine.
I’m allergic to people and F around and find out will be nice if they were approximately 6 x 6 patches. And if you have the iron- on back, we can put those on shirts just an idea.
You did an amazing job demonstrating and explaining the steps to completing an embroidery project, thank you!
@@iDesigniThink thank you for watching!
i have watch too many videos to count on here.. I AM HAPPY TO SAY I FOUND YOU 💖 you are the best , getting right to the point.. new sub

You make this look like fun! Thank you!
Thank you for the video! I'm excited to get crafting !!
You're welcome! Let me know what you make :)
Great video. Thank you.

Unfortunately no. The max hoop size is 4x4
Hi - did you make all of the patches with a single needle machine? I love your tutorials....They have been EXTREMELY helpful for me! ❤🤍❤🤍
Hey there! I did do a majority of patches with my single needle machine. Thank you for watching my videos :)

Thanks so much for this review. I’ve been eyeing this machine and you just helped me make a decision. Is there a video for embroidering the hats?
I’m glad this video was helpful. I will be posting a video showing how I embroider beanies and hats
It turned out really good. I appreciate your attention to detail as well
Thank you!
Really great video tutorial as I have just started with this machine and kept wondering how to embroider shirts without it going all the way through LOL. What color is your bobbin thread beneath? Do you use black or white or the colors you are using with each thread?
I normally use a black bobbin, I purchase a pack of 150 at a time
Where did you find the files for embroidery? Love the hat lady
I believe I got this one from Creative Fabrica.
I like the peace symbol. Super cute!
the color of the thread in bobbin needs to be the same color as the thread that you put at the top of the machine? nice video
For the bobbin thread I usually use black or white since it’s inside the garment.

Need your help how to get a design
Hi, I am looking at this machine but I have no idea what software to use to digitize my patterns. What software do you use?
I use either Stitch Artist or MySewnet
Thank you for your fast reply!! And info! 😊
Does it need a bobin to embroider?
Yes, you’ll need bobbin for all embroidery designs. I always check my bobbin before I attach the hoop
I’m allergic to people and F around and find out will be nice if they were approximately 6 x 6 patches. And if you have the iron- on back, we can put those on shirts just an idea.
Don't get me started Kim!! I was looking at a 12 needle machine today lol.
Where do you get your designs from for embroidery, looking for machine today to start have no experience at all
Some I purchase from etsy or creative fabrica others I digitize myself
@@AllThingsShun is the digitize process easy to learn
Did you use thread on the bottom?
Yes
You don’t need to put a bobbin underneath?
It’s already in there
