Hi there! Does anyone know if a fishing license is required for shore fishing in Oman? I'm always on the lookout for a country where no license is needed. Finding a great spot and catching a fish on your own brings the best joy. Just got back from a vacation where I caught my first permit a week ago. Still waiting for my first GT!

I;ve fished with Ed a few times and solo on the shore, no licence required. On one trip I covered almost half the coast from Dhalkut in the south up to Ras Madrakah. Oman is THE most prolific fishery I've ever been to.
