    Hell yeah, king's gambit, my favourite opening! Thanks Mato!

    It's like any position eventually leads to a tiny downside for Schlechter's opponent.

    I'd like to see a professional tournament where the King's Gambit is required for all players and see what the greats come up with and how far they can take it when everyone is trying to use it.

      Actually there were opening based tournaments back in the old days, I'm not sure if there is any more

    Scientific approach killed King's gambit. KG is the romantic chess per se.

    Hi Mato. Just a little tip to make your awesome commentary even awesomer 😉 (just kidding, your commentary is godly): you can pass the names of the players into google translator and let it be read by the machine in their mother’s tongue to know how to pronunce them. Like here Richard Teichmann is actually [Rikhart Taikhmahn].

      @MatoJelic  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Martin! I do that. Sometimes the pronouncer is wrong. In this case you are right. It is Taikhmahn but I took freedom to pronounce it my way

    • @MatoJelic
      @MatoJelic  5 лет назад

      His best games were with the white pieces except his immortal game: ruclips.net/video/_vbbROOm1Vc/видео.html
