      Disagree. Nothing biblical about the trinity. No where in the Bible is the words trinity, triune, or God in 3 persons. What it does say is that the spirit is God's spirit.

      The Trinity is claimed to be the central doctrine of Christianity but is nowhere mentioned in the Bible. Search as you may, NOWHERE will you find the word ‘Trinity’, 'triune', or 'third person' in the Bible. We accept that nowhere is the word Rapture spoken. Now if it were the central doctrine as it is billed it is unimaginable that it would NOT even be mentioned in the Bible.
      "The doctrine of the Trinity was NOT a teaching of the original Christians, who were either with Jesus himself or taught directly by the surviving apostles. This explains why it is not found in the Bible. If it was a fundamental, core doctrine of such great importance, it would have been clearly and unmistakably stated in scripture. The fact that the vast majority of professed Christians and church doctrine today maintain a belief in the Trinity does not prove it is correct. Rather, it suggests that corruption of Christian doctrinal truths is widespread and deep."[source - -- Is Jesus God Almighty? Is the Trinity Scriptural? By Gordon Coulson]

      Keep in mind also that the acceptance of this trinity doctrine in the 300's was forced, not discussed. One example...
      Emperor Theodosius 380AD The Trinity Law
      According to the discipline of the apostles, and the doctrine of the Gospel, let us believe the sole deity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, under an equal majesty and a pious Trinity. We authorize the followers of this doctrine to assume the title of Catholic Christians; and as we judge that all others are extravagant madmen, we brand them with the infamous name of Heretics, and declare that their conventicles shall no longer usurp the respectable appellation of churches. Besides the condemnation of Divine justice, they must expect to suffer the severe penalties, which our authority, guided by heavenly wisdom, shall think proper to inflict upon them.”*

      @@racketyjack7621 Well said. Elder J. N. Loughborough answers the matter well, as seen in the following:
      "BRO. WHITE: The following questions I would like to have you give, or send, to Bro.Loughborough for explanation. W. W. GILES. Toledo, Ohio.
      QUESTION 1. What serious objection is there to the doctrine of the Trinity?
      ANSWER. There are many objections which we might urge, but on account of our Limited space we shall reduce them to the three following:
      1. It is contrary to common sense.
      2. It is contrary to scripture.
      3. Its origin is Pagan and fabulous.
      These positions we will remark upon briefly in their order.
      It is not very consonant with common sense to talk of three being one, and one being three. Or as some express it, calling God "the Triune God," or "the three-one-God." If Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are each God, it would be three Gods; for three times one is not one, but three. There is a sense in which they are one, but not one person, as claimed by Trinitarians.
      It is contrary to Scripture. Almost any portion of the New Testament we may open which has occasion to speak of the Father and Son, represents them as two distinct persons. The seventeenth chapter of John is alone sufficient to refute the doctrine of the Trinity.
      Over forty times in that one chapter Christ speaks of his Father as a person distinct from himself. His Father was in heaven and he upon earth. The Father had sent him. Given to him those that believed. He was then to go to the Father. And in this very testimony he shows us in what consists the oneness of the Father and Son. It is the same as the oneness of the members of Christ's church. "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one." Of one heart and one mind. Of one purpose in all the plan devised for man's salvation. Read the seventeenth chapter of John, and see if it does not completely upset the doctrine of the Trinity.
      To believe that doctrine, when reading the scripture we must believe that God sent himself into the world, died to reconcile the world to himself, raised himself from the dead, ascended to himself in heaven, pleads before himself in heaven to reconcile the world to himself, and is the only mediator between man and himself. It will not do to substitute the human nature of Christ (according to Trinitarians) as the Mediator; for Clarke says, "Human blood can no more appease God than swine's blood." Com. On 2Sam.xxi,10.
      We must believe also that in the garden God prayed to himself, if it were possible, to let the cup pass from himself, and a thousand other such absurdities.
      Read carefully the following texts, comparing them with the idea that Christ is the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Supreme, and only self-existent God: John xiv,28; xvii,3; iii,16; v,19,26; xi,15; xx,19; viii,50; vi,38; Mark xiii,32; Luke vi,12; xxii,69; xxiv,29; Matt.iii,17; xxvii,46; Gal.iii,20; 1Jno.ii,1; Rev.v,7; Acts xvii,31. Also see Matt.xi,25,27; Luke i,32; xxii,42; John iii,35,36; v,19,21,22,23,25,26; vi,40; viii,35,36; xiv,13; 1Cor.xv,28, &c.?
      The word Trinity nowhere occurs in the Scriptures. The principal text supposed to teach it is 1John [5]:7, which is an interpolation. Clarke says, "Out of one hundred and thirteen manuscripts, the text is wanting in one hundred and twelve. It occurs in no MS. Before the tenth century. And the first place the text occurs in Greek, is in the Greek translation of the acts of the Council of Lateran, held A. D. 1215." - Com. on John 1.
      3. Its origin is pagan and fabulous. Instead of pointing us to scripture for proof of the trinity, we are pointed to the trident of the Persians, with the assertion that "by this they designed to teach the idea of a trinity, and if they had the doctrine of the trinity, they must have received it by tradition from the people of God. But this is all assumed, for it is certain that the Jewish church held to no such doctrine. Says Mr. Summerbell, "A friend of mine who was present in a New York synagogue, asked the Rabbi for an explanation of the word elohim'. A Trinitarian clergyman who stood by, replied, Why, that has reference to the three persons in the Trinity,' when a Jew stepped forward and said he must not mention that word again, or they would have to compel him to leave the house; for it was not permitted to mention the name of any strange god in the synagogue." * Milman says the idea of the Trident is fabulous. (Hist. Christianity, p.34)
      This doctrine of the trinity was brought into the church about the same time with image worship, and keeping the day of the sun, and is but Persian doctrine remodelled. It occupied about three hundred years from its introduction to bring the doctrine to what it is now. It was commenced about 325 A. D., and was not completed till 681. See Milman's Gibbon's Rome, vol. iv, p.422. It was adopted in Spain in 589, in England in 596, in Africa in 534. - Gib. vol. iv, pp.114, 345; Milner, vol. i, p.519." (Discussion between Summerbell and Flood on Trinity, p. 38)
      (J. N. Loughborough, Review & Herald, November 5, 1861, Vol. 18, p. 184, par. 1-11)

    There's still confusion, the Bible clearly states the Spirit of God,Spirit of Christ and also the Holy Ghost. Nowhere in the says God the Holy Spirit. Indeed the Catholics believe Trinity as the central pillar of their Faith by using God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Hence, trinity is Mystery of Catholic faith. Revelation 17:5 regarding the description of the woman as a Mystery makes it very clear about this subject.

    No one sees with greater pleasure than myself the progress of reason in it’s advances towards rational Christianity. when we shall have done away the incomprehensible jargon of the Trinitarian arithmetic, that three are one, and one is three; when we shall have knocked down the artificial scaffolding, reared to mask from view the simple structure of Jesus, when, in short, we shall have unlearned every thing which has been taught since his day, and got back to the pure and simple doctrines he inculcated, we shall then be truly and worthily his disciples: and my opinion is that if nothing had ever been added to what flowed purely from his lips, the whole world would at this day have been Christian. The GREATEST HELP that can be given our people is to teach them to work for God, and to depend on Him, NOT ON THE MINISTERS. Let them learn to work as Christ worked. 7T 19
    “If these men had looked away from self, and stopped thinking of self, if they had gone to work like men, putting heart and soul into the work, their temptations would have been scattered to the four winds.” 1LtMs Lt 97
    “The MINISTERS must be CONVERTED before they can strengthen their brethren. They should not preach themselves, but Christ and His righteousness. A REFORMATION is needed among the people, but it should first begin its purifying work with the MINISTERS.” 1 T 469..

    At 3:01 he addresses the "mystery of the Trinity," followed up with "the mind-boggling mystery of the Trinity" and later, at 3:46 calling it "a majestic mystery." This language should remind us of Revelation 17:5, which says: "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (capitalization is from KJV). It was this "Babylon" that invented the Trinity dogma, first officially adopting it at the Council of Nicaea in AD 325, and it is the same "Babylon" that promotes the "mystery of the Holy Trinity" today--a Jesuit priest praying to this unholy entity at the inauguration of the current U.S. president. Jesus taught us to pray as he did--to his Father, who Jesus said was "the only true God" (John 17:3) and was both _his_ God and _our_ God (John 20:17).
    At 9:59 he references the first usage of a term like "Trinity," crediting it to Tertullian in about AD 150, even saying this was a man whose life overlapped that of John. Interestingly, John addresses the apostasy that was to come, saying "even now already is it in the world" in 1 John 4:2-3. Comparing those words of John with Jesus' own teachings in John 4:24 and Luke 24:39, it is not difficult to see that the "spirit of antichrist" refers to anyone who believes that Jesus was God, because God is a spirit and could not have come "in the flesh." Anyone who denies that Jesus came in the flesh is said to be against Christ (antiChrist).

      More importantly, Ellen White, who many try to say was Trinitarian (she wasn't), NEVER quoted 1 John 5:7 anywhere in her writings. Had it been legitimate scripture, there is no reason for such an omission--for she often spoke about God. But comparing with her statements in The Great Controversy about Erasmus having corrected many of the errors from the Greek text, it is implied that some errors remained. She did not make it her work to tell us where all of the errors were--but if she, supposedly being Trinitarian, never quoted 1 John 5:7, that should give any Trinitarian Adventist some pause.

    ONE AFTER ANOTHER ASKED HIM THE QUESTION, “ART THOU THE SON OF GOD?” TO ALL CAME THE ANSWER AS TO CAIAPHAS, “I AM.” (MATTHEW 27:40-43; MARK 14:61-64; LUKE 22:66-71; JOHN 19:7) IN THE TRUTH OF HIS WORDS, JESUS PROCLAIMED HIMSELF AS THE SON OF GOD.
    The Jewish rulers said of Christ, “We have a law, and by our law He ought to die” [John 19:7]. Christ, who made the laws governing the Temple service, might have said to Caiaphas as he rent his robe, “You have transgressed the law of the God of heaven.” {12MR 401.3}
    Every word of Christ’s reply was an arrow aimed by no uncertain hand. The judges rose up and confronted Christ, and with angry vehemence one after another asked Him the question, “Art Thou the Son of God?” To all came the answer as to Caiaphas, “I AM.” (Matthew 27:40-43; Mark 14:61-64; Luke 22:66-71; John 19:7) Oh, will not the dignity revealed in that pale face bring discernment to these men? Will not His bearing impress them with the truth of His words? On this occasion impressions were made that were never effaced. The actors in the scene went from place to place, hoping to find relief, but never did they gain the peace and quietude they sought. {12MR 401.4}
    The rulers did not yield to the conviction, but decided the matter as Satan hoped they would. They condemned Christ as a blasphemer. But Christ was not cowed or intimidated by their anger. With patience and without retaliation, He bore dishonor and shameful abuse. He looked forward to the time when their positions would be reversed, when He would sit on the right hand of God, clothed with power, when all-Pilate, Caiaphas, and those who mocked and derided Him-would stand before Him. When He comes in the clouds of heaven, the whole world will be cited before Him. Those who pierced Him will look upon Him. The sentence will be passed on those who have not received Him. {12MR 402.1}
    This is one of the times when Christ publicly confessed His claim to be the Messiah, the One for whom the Jews had long looked. Weighted with such great results, it was to Christ one of the most wonderful moments of His life. He realized that all disguise must be swept away. The declaration that He was one with God must be openly made. His judges looked upon Him as only a man, and they thought Him guilty of blasphemous presumption. But He proclaimed Himself as the Son of God. He fully asserted His divine character before the dignitaries who had arraigned Him before their earthly tribunal. His words, spoken calmly, yet with conscious power, showed that He claimed for Himself the prerogatives of the Son of God. {12MR 402.2}
    At this time, none of the disciples dared open their lips to acknowledge Christ as the Messiah so long expected. When asked if he was one of the disciples, Peter denied, and when again charged with being Christ’s follower, he denied with cursing and swearing. On one occasion Jesus asked His disciples, “Whom say ye that I am?” The light of the Saviour’s glory flooded Peter’s soul, and with inspired earnestness, he broke out into no prosaic acknowledgment, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Christ commended him, saying, “Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven” [Matthew 16:15-17]. Is this the same Peter that now denies his Lord with cursing? {12MR 403.1}

      Where does it say he was God? If Jesus had been God, many verses in the Bible would be false, such as James 1:13, which says God cannot be tempted, and 1 Timothy 1:17 that says He is immortal (didn't Jesus die?). What the Bible teaches is that God was IN Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:19). Jesus repeated this truth over and over again--well-knowing its importance for us. See John 14:10 and John 12:49 for two examples.

      Sorry for the long post, here are some scriptures to consider.
      “And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.“

      ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, And his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.“
      ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬-‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
      ”I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.“
      ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭30‬-‭33‬ ‭KJV‬‬
      ”Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.“

    Elohim is indeed plural but in hebrew that is not the word to look to, but the verb which is singular. This is the third error so far in just 3 minutes and shows a clear effort to deceive.

      And why would you assert that is not the word to look to? Unlike the presenter, accusers throw a lot of words around without clarification.

      @@2sarahloves @AnonEeMouse is correct. In Hebrew, many words have the same form whether they are plural or not. For example, there is no way to say "face" in Hebrew--the word is always masculine plural in form (Heb. "panim"). There is no way to say "heaven" or "sky" in Hebrew--it is always plural in form (Heb. "shemayim"). There is also no such thing as "water" in Hebrew--it must always be plural, "mayim." These are called plurale tantum, a grammatical term. Students of Hebrew learn to recognize the gender and number of a noun by the verbs and adjectives associated with it. The rule of thumb is: "The adjective never lies." An English example would be something like "physics IS my least-favorite subject." The subject-verb agreement shows that, despite appearing plural, "physics" is actually singular. The same is true of "elohim" in Hebrew. It is used with plural verbs and adjectives when referencing false gods, but only appears with singular verbs and adjectives when addressing the true God. You may check this online with an interlinear Bible that shows the grammatical notations. The verbs and adjectives will often be singular, even when "elohim" is masculine plural in form. By the way, some say there is a singular form of "elohim," but Hebrew professors are not clear on this. There is a word "el," for example, that has the plural form of "elim." And the word "eloha" may be the name of a false god. Regardless, the verbs and adjectives make clear that the true God is a singular entity.

    The Catholic church holds the trinity as the basis for all their other doctrines. This is stated in the Catholic Catechism, look for yourselves. If they are wrong about Sunday worship, idols, forgiveness of sins, state of the dead, etc. etc. as we all acknowledge as Adventists, how can they possibly be right about the trinity which we have adopted just like them? The pagan roots of trinity doctrine are there for those who look. The worship of the trinity affects all the doctrines we hold as Adventists. At 15:36 Pr. Doug begins addressing the "plurality of God," leading with Genesis 1:26 and a discussion of the Hebrew which he only partially understands. He is correct in identifying the "-im" suffix in Hebrew as being the usual masculine plural form. But he clearly has not studied much Hebrew beyond this. He seems unaware that the word "el" has its own plural form "elim" (see e.g. "gods" in Daniel 11:36) and that it is usually translated as "mighty" rather than as "god"--and he says nothing of the fact that in Hebrew, plural forms of nouns are not decisively plural. Sometimes they are plural for emphasis, such as the "bloods" of Abel crying from the ground--"blood" being plural in the Bible when shed by violence. Sometimes they occur _only_ in plural form, such as faces, waters, heavens, entrails, etc. which have no singular word form in Hebrew. But to ascertain whether a Hebrew noun is masculine or feminine, singular or plural, one must look at the verbs and adjectives used with it. These are always in singular for "elohim" when used of the true God, but are plural when referencing the false gods.
    More significantly still, the verb in Genesis 1:26 is "asah", which is also used for the creations of people. The verb "bara," such as used in Genesis 1:1 and reserved for the creations of God alone, is the verb used in Genesis 1:27 where a clearly singular God actually does the creating: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them" (Genesis 1:27). Both the context and the grammar of this passage show that God is singular, not plural.
    It is also true that "elohim" is not reserved to God/gods: it is applied to angels in Psalm 8:5 and to people in Psalm 82:6--both of these verses being quoted in the Greek where these translations are shown to be accurate (see John 10:34 and Hebrews 2:7). "Elohim" is also applied to judges multiple times (see e.g. Exodus 21:6; 22:8-9; and 1 Samuel 2:25). Knowing that "elohim" can mean angels, and knowing that the angels of heaven certainly knew about both good and evil following Lucifer's fall, God could easily say something like "Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil" (Genesis 3:22) to include them in His statement. The next two verses show why God is saying "us" in addressing the angels, for He places them at the entrances to Eden to prevent Adam from returning to the Tree of Life.

    Sadly, the Adventist Church *"Changed"* the gospel as much as they *"Changed"* many things they didn't like about the gospel from Christ and the Apostles, like Sabbath keeping. They went even so far as to *change* who Christ is and was to welcome a false christ via the false teachings of Ellen G. White. She writes:
    “The Eternal Father, the unchangeable one, gave his only begotten Son, *tore from his bosom* Him who was MADE* in the express image of his person, and sent him down to earth to reveal how greatly he loved mankind.” EGW, Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, 07-09-1895, “The Duty of the Minister and the People,” Par. 14. The quote above is troubling, she is plainly stating that Jesus Christ was *“MADE”* Those who have studied scripture know that Jesus is uncreated, thus it would not be accurate to refer to him as *“made”* . The explicit nature of the words "Tore from his bosom" and "Him who was MADE" clearly shows EGW taught the Christ was not God, but MADE by God, the Eternal Father"
    Below we see another troubling quote of Ellen White, where she is directly stating that Jesus wasn’t God. *“The man Christ Jesus was NOT the Lord God Almighty”* (Letter 32, 1899, quoted in the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, vol. 5, p. 1129).
    I’ve passed this around and many will complain that the context clarifies her statement though. The problem is that there is no clarification that changes “not” into “is”. One must engage in sophistry to twist her words around another way. *No matter how you shake it out she is confessing a heresy.* Either she is dividing the two natures of Christ into two persons entirely and confessing Nestorianism or she is abrogating the divine nature with the human and confessing some form of Arianism.
    I think it is the latter as that plays in well with her comments in Patriarchs and Prophets. *“The exaltation of the Son of God as equal with the Father was represented as an injustice to Lucifer, who, it was claimed, was also entitled to reverence and honor.”* EGW, Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 37
    It is common knowledge that Arianism and Anti-Trinitarianism were widely held views in the early Seventh Day Adventist Church. Since I do not believe Ellen White was a prophet I have no trouble whatsoever accepting that she was catering to her audience by teaching views in line with those heresies.
    One more time, the SDA is being deceitful. They don't even know what the Trinity is, but claim they are Trinitarian to gain acceptance from the very people they persecute as Satan Worshipers.

    Nowhere in the Bible does it say we have three God's or one-in-three or three-in-one. Ellen White explicitly states the Holy Spirit is Jesus: “Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself divested of the personality of humanity and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent.” - (Ellen G. White, 14MR 23.3, 1895)
