Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta Over London 2019

Check out our video of the flight of Hot Air Balloons over London that took place Sunday 9th June 2019. We were in the Vauxhall area with a view of Battersea Power Station and next to the USA Embassy.
The Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta is the official ballooning event of The City of London and is the aerial extension of the historic Lord Mayor’s Show.
For this year’s flight, it launched from Battersea Park, behind Battersea Power Station from where we viewed the event. The prevailing wind gave unforgettable flight over south of Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, London Eye and Tower of London.

I was coming back from a festival with my friend boris biking through London on this day. Cycling over Vauxhall bridge and seeing this was so surreal. A moment I’ll never forget. Thanks so much for uploading this.
