      Maybe for you, but I have never experienced loneliness in my life ever. I am old and I have always had a good relationship with myself. My mother said to me when I was young, "Michael, you're so lucky that you like your own company, most people don't like their own company". I have always given thanks and had enormous gratitude for who I am and that I have been lucky to enjoy the gift of life. I am an agnostic (evidence based) btw.
      Life is a lottery though, where you're born, genetics, are you a slave or free. The variations are endless. I just get up being happy to be me.

      I think it’s like the spiral metaphor. It’s okay sometimes. Sometimes it’s great and I love being alone (w/ my cat) and other time it’s heart breaking making me wonder if something is wrong with me and my ability to connect with others (I’m autistic)

    I am alone but I don't feel alone.. i find enough interests and hobbies within myself... It's actually sad that we live in a world where we are pushed to work, I would just love to do my passions without worrying about the income

    • @ProfessorViral
      @ProfessorViral  2 месяца назад +23

      I think the default life which is forced on everyone, lest they struggle to make it on their own, is a mistake. Society and what we've built is supposed to be a fair trade, but it's become quite spoiled by swapping real freedom for ideas everyone is sold instead of what's truly best for them. I think if there was a collective deeper look we could see that almost every passion is something we could pay people for, with how wide and varied our sources of value are. That so many refuse to take that look is a constant shame

    So many people have done Feye, Spike and Jet. For me, Ed is the only one who fights to be on The Bebop and is the only one with the strength to leave. I don't count Spike, because he's just committing su*cide. A video on Ed would be interesting.

    • @ProfessorViral
      @ProfessorViral  2 месяца назад +26

      The fact that Ed has more awareness than all the adults has something interesting to it for sure. I'd have to see if there's a whole video in there, but if not it's probably at least a section in a video about what's lost in adulthood

    • @JamesDecker7

      Ed is a great reminder that reconnecting with our inner child can be good for us. Ein is an even better reminder that just enjoying the flow and following your instincts CAN work out.
      Both are reminders that our environment doesn’t have to completely define us.

    Have you seen crazy ex girlfriend, the show eventually gets to her deal with her mental health.
    And its also the song "the darkness" where she sings about the cold comfort of the darkness in a fun but hitting way. That she has to let that go to get something real :(

    This video and the last have been my favorite of yours. The way your own personality is shining through in the connections you make from the themes and your own life, has been great. It reminds me of a line from "Erased" where the main character is told they aren't coming through in the writing, their story is good, but the reader wants to understand the author by their choice of framing. These videos have shown more of yourself, and the parts that I feel draw people toward you. Just happy to benefit from it dude, its awesome. Not to cast dispersions against prior ones, watching a couple animes you covered because of them. But these recent ones have been sublime. The expression of yourself is something to be proud of.

    I dont normally watch long vids with a vague or more emotional message, but i just cant stop this one. Bebop was always praised online when i contemplated watching it, remembering its notion from childhood, but wasnt my style. They all look deeply avoidant, maybe fearful ones, and they just...remind me of me. The story with the phone dependancy for a girl also hits close, the things i lost from my pure self until i finally learned my lesson after 12 years...
    Im into psychology, whatever this channel is about somehow touches me. Even if i dont have all the time in the world to sit through everything, please keep making these pieces of art.
    Can also recommend Gábor Máté (his books) if you guys are interested, its deep stuff, valuable

    • @ProfessorViral

      The idea of a vague message sounded off to me at first, but I think I can embrace that label. It's probably better; I never want to tell people what to feel directly, but I want them to take the idea and apply it to their own situation to understand, not just to listen. But anyway, thank you for your time with this one, even if it's not a usual thing for you I appriciate checking this one out! That author sounds familiar as well; I think their work has been referenced in other content I watched, so I'll keep it in mind

    Phenomenal piece!
    Every moment of my life from this moment on will be ever so slightly brighter with the knowledge that, some day, I will have the emotional maturity to process the events of my life along with my own actions impact upon them.
    Also, that some time after that I, apparently, become significantly younger, time travel back to the early post-pandemic pre-transhumanism era(*), rewire my inner narrative directly into my speech vocalizer and start a RUclips channel. Go me! Us? Go Meus! Gorgeous too!
    There is, of course, an outside possibility that you're not actually a later/better version of myself and are instead some sort of non-time-travelling non-reverse-aging independently-existing highly-intelligent sentient bipedal humanoid. If so, you deserve far more public attention for your proficiency at crafting such wonderfully engrossing consistent, cohesive, cognisant narrative flows as is on display in this video. What are the chances, honestly, of you being real though? Ha!
    (* Why?!? Surely no one would intentionally aim to be here in the now. Especially so if for a second time. I can look forward to finding out, I guess.)
