Very helpful. Thank you.
Oh my heaven. I’d have really wished if my norsk teacher was that much interesting at teaching skills🙄💁♂️
However really appreciate your effort and that’s amazing. keep up this good work☺️👌
Thank you soo much! Really appreciate that encouragement 😄🤓⭐️
Wow, I wish I had this explanation when I started learning Norwegian! Kjempefin jobb!
Thank you so much!😄 Tusen takk:)🇳🇴
Thank you! I've been messing around with learning Norwegian on Duolingo, mostly for fun (but there is a small hope to visit Norway years down the line), and the duo app doesn't explain this at all and I was getting really confused!
Glad I was able to help with some explanation! Good luck with your learning :D
I have a very similar experience! I sincerly regret that duolingo doesn't have any grammar lessons, or cards with grammar bullet points on them, because I was really confused.
Anyways you video was very clear, you gained a subscriber!
Wow Johanne, you're really good at this! Naturally I can't speak on behalf of a non-native speaker, but it is a huge benefit that your English is so good, too. I know that is not the case for most Norwegians, even those who teach Norwegian in various places. It was also fun seeing your animations :) Make me miss looking over at your notes during class, though! XO
Thank you so much 😄🤓I hope we will get at least a few more chances of being in class again (I'm 90% sure lectures gave me 90% of my drawing abilities)✏️✏️
although I watched another video about the subject I don't understand. Thanks to you I understood Thanks Nice too meet you :)
Takk for leksjonen Johanne. Im trying to learn Norwegen to get closer to my family who speak it. You really have amazing explanations and Godspeed

Tusen takk!!! 😊
Mange takk!
Takk for at du så på! :D
You can also attach the letter 'a' instead of 'ene' at the end of a neuter noun on the definite plural declension. I do this in bokmål myself, as I don't think it is grammatically incorrect. Except for Nynorsk where you must have an 'a' to it.
a treasure video for sure😭😭😭
I really enjoy your videos and they have been helping me a lot. I live in the US, and there is no one around me that speaks norwegian to help me practice. Do you ever help people practice over zoom?
I'm so glad my videos are helping you! I unfortunately don't give lessons or teach online at this moment. But I'm wishing you lots of good luck with your learning!
This is so helpful! Takk! :)
is Jeg har ei bok and Jeg har en bok just the same?

Amazing
Thank you for thins! I'm learning on duolingo and they don't explain anything...
I am norwegian, why is bok female? what are the rules for this?
Also we norwegians, never use ei, who use that now adays? ??
There are (to my knowledge) no set rules for which words belong to which gender.
You say people do not use "ei" nowadays...?
I use ei all the time - are you telling me you say "boken" and not "boka" in daily speech?
Some people may prefer to use the article "en" instead of "ei" for feminine nouns, but they still apply the feminine ending "-a" in the definite form (boka, stua, lampa, gata). In my experience, this is how most people speak.
A notable exception is the Bergen dialect, which systematically does not use hunkjønn.
That was really helpful. Thank you so much 😊
