YES! I put my whole garden and yard in order while listening to The Way of Kings this week in 1.5 speed.
I'm listening to you two in 1.75 speed.
My husband caught me standing at the bookshelves with the duster in my hand just staring in space. He taps my arm and asks if I am ok. I said SHHHH they are being attacked again!

Not only did Moash kill Elohkar, but had the audacity to do a bridge 4 salute to Kaladin, who's sitting there broken.

The part that is extremely heart wrenching and almost nauseating at the same time is when Dalinar later learns that he heard his own wife's screams as she burned to death from a fire he caused. I don't think any man could bear that guilt.

The Rift is a city built along the sides of a very deep canyon

The Dalinar backstory is exceptional. The Shallan Kholinar sequence was brutal. And one of the best quotes that illustrates the Adolin/Kaladin friendship is when Adolin goes “He’s probably their leader now or something. Storming bridgeboy.”

Hahaha yes!!! That is the best quote 😂 😂 love that Sanderson knows how to make fun of his own characters so well haha

@@NextChapterYT It’s so good. Adolin expresses admiration and respect for Kaladin and his leadership skills, while also making fun of him and his legend and stressing his unique friendship with Kaladin and how well he knows him. In one line. It’s perfection.

The Unmade seem to be Spren that the Shards created, Spren that weren't a natural manifestation on Roshar

I listen at 1x because i enjoy Michael and Kate’s performance. They are probably two of the best audio book narrators out there.
Would highly recommend to try it out, even if it’s just for a chapter or two.
