    Imagine what this man could do with modern ultra-slow-mo 4k cameras. Ted Williams & Tony Gwynn, the greatest pure hitters of all time.

      He would be a .350 hitter every year. Remember that he couldn’t be shifted against since he loved to go the other way. The only thing that robbed him near the end was his knees.

    A true master at his craft- naturally gifted.. and made even better by studying himself. Watching clips like these take me back to the “good old days” of baseball. I know it’s still good, but... those were some good years for the sport. I miss them

    A few years later, Teddy Ballgame convinced Tony to turn on that inside fastball. After that, Tony went from being a great hitter to the best hitter since the Splendid Splinter.

    People easily forget how good of a basketball player he was @ SDSU. I heard he was a pretty good hitter in his day also.
