- HIBISCUS FLOWER or GUMAMELA can be done in Gumpaste, Cold Porcelain or Clay
Materials used
Gumpaste (Recipe on my previous video)
Rolling pin
Cutter (Tear drop or Rose petal Cutter)
Edible Glue (2 Tbsp Warm water and 1/4 tsp tylose powder)
Ball tool
Wire number 24 white
Floral tape green
Gelatin Pollen (Gelatin Powder mixed with yellow dust)
Cornstarch
Shortening for kneading (I use puratos or crisco)
Foam pad
DIY Petal Former/ Spoon
Make up brush for dusting

Awwww thank you when using gumpaste nake sure it's not humid in your place or work in a close area or aircon room, petals should be really dry before you assemble :)

love this tutorial! So detailed and what a beautiful result! I am able to follow all the steps pretty well but when I arrange the flower, I keep having the wire break through my petals. Do you have any tips on what I am doing wrong?
Hi if petals break it may be the paste is not fully dry yet or it's humid
