5 years late to the party but since you already destroyed it, if you still have the handle it would be interesting to autopsy dissect the handle and see if the tang extended further or what the rest of it looks like inside the cavity.

There is a knockoff glock knife going around called simply the “bundeswehr style fighting knife Mi220” you should do a head to head test and compare it to the glock even after its been shot.
Gotta go full tang incase it gets shot by a very powerful gun? Lol. I have a Glock 78 and a SOG seal pup. The glock feels much more solid. The seal pup looks a lot better but who is to say it could handle bullets like the glock
