Its good to see you moving but for heavens sake don't go over doing it I'm sure I speak for a lot of your fans Chemo and radiation treatments can take more out of you than you think although you may look and feel back to normal .I know you must want to cruise again that's natural but we want to be your online friends for a long long time.

Is it too soon? I don't think so. The crew may be easily tired out, but she has the cap'n there to help out as needed, and she could always get some practice driving. I think it will be good to get back to familiar routines and doing what she enjoys, finding new places, seeing new things, and just living her pace. It's good to see you are doing so well, and a nice pixie cut seems in the near future. Cheers, enjoy a right nice pint, and stay safe guys.

Hang on! Your 2nd first one was earlier this month when you left the marina and headed out. Remember? So many from the marina saw you off and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Well, except Deb whose allergies flared up dramatically as soon as you pulled out on the canal. THAT was your 2nd 1st one. This is your 3rd 1st one. Although it IS the 2nd 1st one since Deb got sick. It is easy to understand losing track of so many firsts. ESPECIALLY if you are wont to go back to the beginning with every delay. Though maybe things are more fun when you think it's your first time. I wouldn't know, being this old the only first I have left is to die. I will let you know how it goes, when I go. 😁
"I can do it by myself! " Who hasn't heard that 50 or 100 times with every 4-5 year old. I have to admit that I have not heard it from a 40 year old that wasn't in a Rehabilitation Center. The one thing that puzzles me Mark, is that neither arm is in a sling and you SEEM TO walk okay. But DebOrah could not take the tiller while you worked the gates? And you went to a pub because she walked over 5 miles with still compromised stamina and you could not make a sandwich? Personally, I am all for the bup any chance i get. Or a good chippy at every opportunity. He far did Deb have to walk for her dinner? And you with your injured feet?
Unfortunately, that is all the hard time that I can spare for this video. My supply is woefully low. If i don't find a way to replenish my ugly, I will have to either keep my mouth shut or say something nice. Ow! It's up to you, of course. This year, people are selecting the silent option with the occasional thumbs up.

Debbie is not very confident at the moment at the tiller as the neuropathy has left her with numb feet and she feel better moving than standing in one position.
Luckily the pub was only about 300 yards from our mooring.

Another great Vlog from the both of you. I like the end of your Vlog were you cross the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, great drone shots. In around 11 weeks, my wife and myself along with my cousin and her husband will be crossing the Pontcysyllte aqueduct. I have been a drome pilot for many years and I fly the Yuneec Typhoon H which is a little too big to hand catch on the stern of a narrowboat. I have bought myself a DJI Air 2S so I can get some nice shots of the aqueduct and our cruse. We pick up the boat at Trevor basin for a weeks cruse along the Llangollen canal. We cant wait. We were supposed to go in April, but because of the lockdown, we had to postpone it. God Bless you both. I love your Vlogs. Dave.

How good it is to see you out cruising again. You’re doing well Debs but do take it easy. I shall never forget taking a 40’ hire boat from Middlewich with my dear wife Ann, my cousin and my best friend. We went south on the Staffs and Worcester and north on The Shropshire Union in a very ambitious week.Ann and I were experienced on the Canals and this would have been the early seventies. We completed the Heartbreak Hill locks
in an incredibly quick time which I won’t mention as it’s probably not possible today and I wouldn’t want anyone to try. All told it was a very memorable autumn week. Happy memories.

They take everything in their stride. As long as they are on the top with us they are happy, but gets very stressed if they are inside when we are travelling due to rain.

No, air con units are to power hungry, we just try to find somewhere shady to moor on the hottest days, about twice a year in the UK 🤣😂
