Oh the original speed is so slow and relaxing. Was thinking this was launching 6000 feet off the side of a mountain. That would be an interesting roller coaster if that were the case.
How long is the que? Looks like it can only hold 10 people and it takes ages for it to go up and come back down. Surely the queue must be over a few hours.

Is this the only solo funicular in Europe? To not have a bi-directional is rather unusual, is it not? Seems like the added cost of a midway bypass track would have been marginal, so why not. The benefit of counter-balancing would have an advantage . Or is there a sister funicular on the other side of the mountain going down to another valley? If there is only one track, what happens to all the cable once it pulls up? Where does it go?
There is no second/sister funicular on the other side.
