Thank you so much for watching today’s video, if you enjoyed it, don’t forget to like 👍 it! Let me know what you’d like to see next from me. My next ideas are toddler fashion, breastfeeding/weaning advice, body update after weaning, and….whatever you say! 💞
How about how you entertain Arrow and how many outings you take Arrow for in an average day! I have an almost 11 month old who requires at least 3 outings a day and would love to see that kind of video 😅😀
These are some great tips! We have been using gentle parenting for the past 4 years and never looked back! I never interrupt my daughter when she’s busy, I think that’s so important. She’s 5 now and so happy playing independently. Also we still use the phrase, ‘would you like to do it yourself or would you like me to help?’ It’s been a game changer for years!
I love how your tips align with early childhood education! Often times parents see these things are unnecessary or wasteful but they really are so important. I would also like to add that independent play is so necessary to developing imagination, being creative, exploration, problem solving, and confidence. It shows your child that it’s okay for them to take risks & that you will back them up. About the transitional object, I will like to add that a lot of teachers do not allow toys from home in the classroom as it creates distractions (I don’t agree) & if it gets lost or broken or anything happens to it, it’s very traumatic for the child. If you help your child, choose 2 items (one for home and one for school). A lot of kids in my school have keychains that attach to their clothes or backpack with pictures from their family that they can look at when they want, or small dishcloth sized blankets, small plushies, etc. I’ve seen parents buy 2 of a blanket- 1 full size one for home & the second they cut to make smaller. Also, my kids are 3-4 years old. This I don’t think will work for babies.
I’m getting ready to have our first baby (induction is scheduled for 6 days from now 😳 unless he decides to come sooner 🤞) and you are probably the only channel that I feel I can get info from that doesn’t make me feel totally overwhelmed and incapable of doing this whole mommyhood thing. Love you and your content!! Thank you for sharing with us!! 🥰
Brittany’s channel is great! I’m a new mommy too and would like to suggest another great RUclips if that’s okay. She really helped me out for the birthing portion of my pregnancy her name is Bridget Teyler, she has tons of helpful videos on just about everything. Good luck to you and your new baby! ✨❤️
I loooove when you asked “do you want to walk in the living room or walk with my hand.” As a child educator of almost 8 years these are the phrases I LOVE giving children. Giving them a choice so they feel independent but also knowing there isn’t a choice when you have to leave the room. Brittany, YES YES YES !
Same!!! I was literally just telling my mom I try to be very minimalistic esp since having my son. I want the least amount of things and only want to have what I absolutely need and use or just really want. 👏🏼🙌🏼 Best thing you can do as a mom is declutter immediately. I did that all throughout my pregnancy. Now I am down to exactly what I use and I love that so much. If it doesn’t mean something or I don’t need it- it’s got to go! Keep doing you, sis!
I really love your mom tips & hacks! My daughter is 9 months so these are always so timely for me to prep for the next stage. Also eagerly waiting for your mommy & me collection 😁
Your videos are extremely helpful! You are an awesome mom, and watching your videos encourages me to push to be an awesome mom as well. Everyday for me since becoming a mom as been to some extent overwhelming. Your videos help me to realize that we all struggle, but there are ways to tackle those struggles. I just want to truly thank you from one struggling ftm to another.❤
I’m not even a mom but I will definitely remember these tips for the future! I love the idea of giving two options instead of saying what not to do. Great advice.
Definitely going to try using a lovey and start chores when my baby can walk. She's going through separation anxiety rn at 6months and a lovey would really help! Thank you again ☺️❤️
Hey Brittany! Love your videos. So helpful, thank you. I recall baby girl was allergic to dairy early on. My son is too. Did your daughter’s allergy go away? When/ how. Any tips you can share for reintroduction would be wonderful.
🌹Wish we could all chip in and send flowers, food & care package toddler stuff for you & Arrow!! You deserve the best girl! Such a light! Love watching how our babies observe and want to copy!! Thx for sharing once again!
Im not one to leave comments in videos but I absolutely love your videos! I try all your hacks and they’re super helpful! I’ve been on your journey since you were pregnant with Arrow ❤️ My daughter is about 4 months younger than yours and I can relate with everything you put on your channel! This is honestly my favorite channel! Sending you lots of love from Florida 🥰
So thankful for all of your content. Typically I’ll watch one or two types of videos from a RUclips but I ALWAYS am excited to watch all of your videos! ❤️
im not a mom or planning to be a mom but I love all your videos you are such an inspiration as a woman and i’m so proud of your journey and realistic viewpoints on life and mental health 🖤 having a bad household growing up watching good parents who are so loving and try so hard makes my heart so warm
My baby is super super independent and I just embraced it because that was her personality. Since 4 months old she wanted to feed herself, she played independently at 7 months, and now that she’s walking she plays everywhere by herself. That’s just her personality. I noticed the more I let her do things on her own, the happier and faster learner she was.
I found when im cleaning around the apartment, my daughter is 9m, i have to let her follow me around when im vacuuming or putting a spoon in the dishwasher if im doing the dishes and she loves it and gets excited when i let her crawl around "helping" it has made everything so much easier and completely 100% agree with the two options for the tantrums even at mines young age always works
Hi Brittany, love your videos and your tips always❤️ I’m a mom of 10 months old baby girl and I would love to know how you did for breastfeeding weaning💕
My baby is only 10 weeks old but I like to have him in the kitchen with me while I cook dinner. I hold up the ingredients and utensils and talk about what I'm doing. I feel this keeps him engaged and it's fun to see his eyes get big when showing him different foods
It’s crazy how happy they can get when helping out with little things. My 14 month old will help me turn the washing machine on and putting away books Can’t get him to help out toys away yet though, he gets distracted and starts playing with stuff 🤣
The dog treat idea to also help Foster their relationship is genius!!! Our dog is 16 had her my whole life basically, and her and my baby have been slowly but surely bonding! The treat idea will help them both!
My daughter is only 3 months old, but these videos are SO helpful especially cause I've been feeling so overwhelmed the last couple days. I needed this today thank you so much 😭😭
Your videos are always my favorite!! I have an 8 month old and I love learning from you 💗. Also if anyone knows what the little stuffy is that Arrow has is called please let me know!! Looks so cute ☺
Were they the anvachy ones? Those are the ones I heard were amazing! The water trick does make a difference though! Sometimes I just use the straight tray if there nothing like yogurt, oatmeal, rice 🤷🏼♀️
I have a hack which some people may agree with, some not. Whenever our daughter is teething she can soak her bib in 10 minutes. To avoid having to launder them all the time, I put clear Christmas decorations hooks on the wall (the ones that peel off), hang yute garden strings left to right and colourful metal S hooks for the bibs to dry. They're easy to reach, not falling on the floor and because I have different lengths of string it looks a bit like a wall art. I even have little wooden pegs to attach flash cards for baby sign language we're trying to teach her.
My 15 months old girl throws the bamboo suction plate off of the high chair in a good 3 minutes ... those doesn't work. She loves to put her shoes (and mine lol) away, she put her laundry in the basket before bath time and also she puts her lovies in the crib every time before bedtime. I let her help taking out groceries and dishes from the dishwasher (she brings every item to me except heavy or dangerous ones). :P The vacuum cleaner unfortunately is all hers by now. :D
Love your videos! I’ve picked up some of your toddler hacks and they’ve been such a help! Thank you! I’m definitely going to try the frozen waffles. I can’t get my son to use the teethers I’ve bought for him.
I have 4 kids. My youngest is one. We bought a small broom and mop set for her sister but our one year old loves using the broom. She loves to help clean up little messes with her tiny broom.
Brit, I am a little worried about you. Please make sure you take good care of yourself. I am usually not one to comment on peoples weight but pls make sure you eat, sleep and smile enough for yourself! 😊
Okay so I don’t have children and I am not sure if I will ever have children. However, I watch all of your mommy content! I just adore you and your daughter.
I didn't even realize I was doing #4 already lol.. we had to move into my parents basement ***temporary hopefully*** but we have a baby gate set up on the bedroom door and for about 2 months she's watched me open and close it so now she opens and closes the door for me when we go in and out of the room. I say up and down for locking and unlocking. We do a simple yayy, good job and high fave when she does it and she just does this big ol smile 🥰
And Regarding A Lovey Too My Mom Helped My Son Develope A Lovey Relationship With His Muslim Cloth Pieces 😂😂😂 Instead Of An Actual Toy Or Teddy Etc So He has 6 of Them Now N I Dont Have to Bother Too If I dnt Have it I just Give him some other Soft cotton Cloth n he is ok with it,it really Works great outdoors indoors when he is cuddly, cranky, irritated with teething.muslin cloth pieces are a life saver for me

OMG I am immediately going to try just giving a frozen waffle while teething - he is gonna love that. Great tips!
It’s probably one of her favorite snacks and it’s SO easy!
That nugget couch looks so good! I wanted to replace our giant play pen. My baby just turned 1 and it's soooo different 😭
Where are your sweats from? Can you do a haul? 😝 and more baby hauls are helpful too

Baby chores are a lifesaver when you need to get things done. Although mine tends to just go behind me and ‘untidy’ everything 😂
Lol that happens with me too
There are also pouches that open at the bottom so it’s a wider area to put stuff in and they are reusueable
When she’s doing her tired whine - I mimic her and she thinks it’s a game after a bit. Helps calm her down. I might be the only one 😂
Loved ALL of this
