Answer for community: I just draft who feels right. If two guys from the same tier are up, I'm looking at health history and their current weapons. I also ask key fellow footballers.
I feel that the most important thing is gut feel. That and talking to a friend is why I got Stroud last year at the 1.02 instead of Young.
I remember you leaning stroud and was happy to help push you over the edge! You were gonna go that way it seemed, but yeah asking friends for advice, I do it too!
JP saying Zamir White is a winner makes him trading him to me last week so much sweeter.
well cannot blame him in a rebuild. looking like good value for you Austin!
Sssssh don’t diminish my win!
@@AwesomeDumplin not diminishing, Justin bought 2 shares, lets celebrate! Solid RB2 with upside
Community Question: How do you evaluate the value of 1st round quarterbacks who have less desirable profiles but good draft capital?
I have 1.1 1.06 and 1.10 thinking about passing on JJ at 6and taking bo later even though JJ has better profile and weapons since bo will be day 1 starter
@@joshgenenbacher3434 As long as you are drafting someone in the same tier as JJ at 1.06, cannot knock you too much. Whats the qb room? are you trying to compete? who do you expect to take at 1.06? How many starters, scoring format lol. You can also DM me on twitter @justingoleff and ill brainstorm with the boys possible directions, or reply here!
@@joshgenenbacher3434 I think I probably see the delta or difference between jj and bo bigger than the difference between rome and the wrs at 1.10. let me ask david and JP thought and get back to you!
@@joshgenenbacher3434 Also I know I am rambling here, but targetting a veteran qb who is more proven life Tua, Dak, Goff, Purdy, etc is always a good idea to if you want a day 1 starter you can actually rely on
@@joshgenenbacher3434 The other two, JJ and David would rather have Odunze and Nix. So what we would all recomend is following your gut, but know that your gut is not unreasonable!
I have the 1.01 and 2 later firsts too I’m a cardinals fan and I have Kyler on my team and I really want to go with mhj but it’s a ppr superflex and idk if I should try to trade up using my later firsts or stay and get the best round 1 qb available
We need to know the number of starters, the exact picks those other late 1sts are, if you have other qbs, are you trying to compete this year? In general we have Marv and Caleb in the same tier, so cannot blame you for going with your guy. Just the problem that can come up later might be that you feel like you have to reach on Bo Nix when a better skiller player is available for example. If you give us more info, we will give you more info!
@@Dynoconff it’s a 12 team 9 starters the other 1sts are 1.07 and 1.09 I also have 2 firsts in both 25 and 26 if I need to trade them I am rebuilding kyler is my only starting qb my only starting rb is zamir white and my 2 main wr are j chase and jsn
@@bluedodger3588 From JustinGoleFF Quick overview of your team: Kyler, Chase, (MHJ/Caleb) are 33% of your starters going forward we are absoultley comfortbale with. We would look at the picks between 2-6 and try to figure out how many of them are guaranteed to go QB. Taking Caleb here probably is the better bet as a hammer qb in a shallow format is more valuable because of positioanl scarcity. At 1.07 and 1.09 you have two decent prospects to slide into your lineup and have a core of 5 young players. We woud reccomend looking to sell White for a 25 1st (if you have to add a 2nd that is not yours for example, or package sevearl other fringe assets to him to do so, we would) Otherwise look to sell him during the season when demand should be higher. We would also encourage you to look at pushing JSN forward to a 25 1st as well. You don't have to do this, but in a start 9 the reroll might have higher upside. The quesion about going with Marv and JJ or Caleb and BPA available is kind of a coin flip, but I think we would slightly lean towards Caleb and BPA (which could also be JJ at 1.07 and definitely at 1.09) Just make sure if you are looking toward not competing this year to be actively looking for a fair package deal for white.
@@Dynoconff thanks for the advice
@@bluedodger3588 Of course, we will reply to every question!
I wasn’t super high on penix but if he had gone to raiders Seahawks or Vikings at 8 we woulda had to pump him up. But he got taken early by a team that has just paid a ton of money to Kirk and they can’t get rid of him so it’s almost to me as if he got drafted in the 2nd. Take a shot or two but can’t over shoot. On the other side Nix. Don’t like him but NFL did so going to have to take a few shots when if he did fall I might not have taken any.
Thanks as always trav! got you on the spotify and apple pod release!
