I am really enjoying the show. Interviewing a lot of bright minds, engineer's,CTO's etc....around and having a very engaging discussion. Asking right kind of questions...I am loving it. I wish i could have seen something like this in my early years....nonetheless very happy.
I feel, this POD series is going to be one of the most loved and valuable pod-series ever for the developer community. The way you are extracting tech side from a CTO/Founder/TechLead, it's amazing and unique. This series can be a way to go through the Indian engineer's mind. Thanks a lot @SCALER for all your effort to bring this to us. Please keep this accessible!!!
Great goal....decided for daughter. Really inspiring, every father should think in this way, or similar to this at least. It is SMART goal, of creating/developing language and making your daughter "engineer : great vision I must say"
The reason of people going to manager path from IC could also be energy level. It reduces as you grow with age, but again it depends upon individual. In west people at 50 are soft. engg. becz they have good climate, work life balance
Uncomfortable situations and learnings, First principles implementation, IC role to managing people, managing people and stakeholders, outcome vs output, being data driven, specialized skills working on features vs on platforms, a generalist working on platforms,
Scaler doing a great job by bringing right kind of people to the frontline !!!
Happy to hear that! 🙌🏼
I was assuming myself as an engineer but after watching his passion it feels like i’m at the 0 level 😂
