A shame that this game doesn't have a 2 player mode like the Genesis version (which is a completely different game btw) Robin is just a story npc here.

This game looks amazing! If only my dad didn't throw away his old game consoles when he was younger.
Fun fact, this game was originally called Batman the animated series but had its name changed due to the show itself changing its name to The adventures of Batman and Robin from BTAS. This is why Robin is a glorified npc in the game. Also ther are 4 different versions of this game each with differing game play. I believe these versions were on the SNES, genesis, game gear, and Sega cd.
I’ve played the Genesis version & boy was it good. Hope there is a play through of it down the road.

Loved growing up in the 80’s and 90’s, you can’t beat the breadth of games and how great they were. Platformers don’t get better than the 90’s: DKC 1&2, Batman TAS, Super Mario World, Super Star Wars etc. Loved how back then you bought a game and it was all included, no dlc bs or micro transactions. Kids that got a ps4 or Xbox 1 missed out on the golden age of gaming.

This game was pretty good. The Genesis one was better, but waaaaay harder)
Sega cd version was the most interesting for the fully animated cutscenes and voice acting.
The Genesis one was crap. Only had four stages and four villains in it.
This is a MF treacherous game. Beautiful, but hard and treacherous

The dialogue in this game is awful! The show had such snappy, interesting dialogue. This is just sad. For the SNES, everyone looks pretty accurate, though. Apart from the cool SNES effects, the gameplay looks kinda stale. Would have loved to see a Metroidvania in the BTAS style instead!
The dialogue may seem simplistic because its translated from Japanese. I personally don't mind it.
@@SonicTheHedgehog17 Oh yeah, I figured that's the case, it's just a shame considering how good the show's writing was. I'm glad it didn't bug you, I wish I enjoyed it more.
