They did so good on this game. The graphics are great, the charecters are accurate, and, the soundtrack is awesome too! I really love the nightmare before christmas! (As you can see jack, and zero in this prophile pic lol) have a great day and stay safe!
I find how this game provides an origin for Oogie Boogie rather fascinating. You'd presume from the film he's just a particularly nasty Halloween Town denizen with a grudge against Jack. Discovering he's a former ruler of a forgotten holiday explains why he resents Jack, but it really makes you wonder... _what happened to his world and its inhabitants?_
I owned this game at some point. I loved this game. I found it fantastic. I didn't care for the final bosses extended length as it took ages to beat him down... but other than that, this is a solid license based around one of my favorite movies of all time ever.
With the release of the upcoming comic book series "the battle for pumpkin king", oogie's line at 1:26 doesn't seem to make sense anymore (or maybe even less sense than before) as oogie should have known him since childhood at least.

I have this game but mine has a glitch making it unplayable. 😢 At the beginning Jack is in a falling loop (falling from the sky through the floor over and over), he's able to jump but that's it. Lol
I remember having this game and i literally couldn't do that double jump in the graveyard to save my life! I never finished the game and i remember giving it away 😔 WTF THERE WAS A MAP THIS WHOLE TIME?!

@@Mizz_Merk Dont restart it! I figured it out. There are some creatures that drop de charge, they are usually near the walls with the fire ítem. I found one in the pumpkin patch, near the fire wall at the bottom right of the map. Is one of the slugs at the side 3 little mushrooms and 1 tall mushroom. Just cross the screen and kill them several times until it drops.
I think my copy is glitching or something, I keep getting trapped next to those satellite-looking things that shoot energy beams. I'm lucky if the game lets me get past/over them before all my health is gone.
Imagine that they were made Luca GBA and they put a scene where Luca, after he fight against Ercole and after he almost won the Race, he was kidnapped by Three Mothers, the Markos Sisters(Helena Mater Suspiriorum, Polixenia Mater Lachrymarum and Cleia Mater Tenebrarum) on Triora, the city of the Witches, that they made him a task before He went on Geova with Giulia just like this videogame about Nightmare before Christmas

I like that this game is kind of a prequel to the movie and then the PS2 one is a sequel to the movie, it's a saga just as hi as the original movie.

The final phase of Ooggie was pain in the ass
Used to play this a very wee lad, had no clue what to do and died all the time, just loved it for the artstyle.

I find it very funny that this game acts as a prequel to the main movie and Oogies revenge acts as a sequel to the movie so all the bases are covered.
