The 25% tarriff exemption that expired this year was put in place in 2018. I think the price of ebikes will go down if anything. Might take a year or so. If you did fine with the past 4 years of massive inflation then you will definitely be fine the next 4.
I have 3 ebikes...a Super 73RX, a Lectric and a Road Runner Pro. I think, at the moment.... for the best bang for your buck, buying a Lectric branded ebike is the way to go.
Don't know but there are a few ebikes I comparded CAD vs USD and they final cost was the same for both. Considering the much lower Canadian dollar, Canada is gonna the better deals at least from this site I looked at.
If the tariffs were implemented methodically I would be ok with it but just slapping tariffs on things before the American companies are ready is going to put some out of business unnecessarily.
Going through extra nonsense trying to get a loan to pay off the rest of the cost of a Graffiti before the tariffs come. Lyric just told me there is no support line and is acting like they have no way to communicate with customers... WHY? a $3K bike is no cheap thing to just toss money like that at. How do you speak to them so often and easily?
Bro if you can't afford $3k you are poor. Your priorities should NOT be trying to buy a bike. You should be focusing on getting a higher paying job and getting out of poverty. Or ignore my advice and stay poor forever while trying to get a loan for an e-bike. That phrase alone is laughable. A loan for a kids toy bike... 🤣🤣🤣
Ebikes are an amazing resource. Sadly, governments can't seem to figure it out
Yes, I agree.
lol ok. Ebikes are toys for kids. No real adult is going to ride one for anything other than weekend fun.

Hope so!
Tariffs out weigh inflation by a massive amount lol

I'm not sure what they will do about ordering an E Bike from Canada or buying one in Canada.

e-bikes offer too much freedom for the state too not mooch off of so they need to discourage via regulations
I bought 3 ebikes in the last year. 2 identical ones, so I'll always have replacement parts.
That's a good idea.
I still want an electric dirt bike. I recently quit driving at almost 67 years old. I'm ebike only now. Ride safe.
Big Sur Sport 1699 🔥
I will drive 30 minutes to Canada with a bike on a bike rack.. Come home with an E bike on the rack
That's a smart solution for you.

Yeah, I agree, a slow rollout would be better.
Tariffs will help replace revenue lost from the millionaires tax cut. People voted for this policy.
Yes
I'm not a millionaire and save alot more money from those tax cuts than I did from a 25% ebike tariff. 😂
Get ready for that to come out of your pocket, less for more you voted for it.
I'm glad that Trump is going to be putting tariffs on cheap Chinese junk.

Honestly, I don't speak to them or at least haven't in quite some time.
