I have been using Timeless Vit C serum (20%). Before that I used Peter Thomas Roth which was a 3x the price and the formulation is the same. I've tried Drunk Elephant, Skinceuticals and Paula's Choice all produce beautiful results but I always return to Timeless..
Gloria A That’s really helpful, thank you☺️. I’ve actually been asking the beauty counter advisors for samples recently. In our flagship M & S (Ellesmere Port) they will give you a good size sample pot. I’m currently trying out the Murad eye cream. It’s a lovely product. One which Trinny recommended previously. M & S gave really pushed the boat out in terms of high quality beauty products. No different from SpaceNK. If I’m going to pay £70 odd pounds I want to try the product beforehand. It annoys me when department stores say they don’t hold samples. They should. There’s a LOT of beauty products out there if they want our custom they should offer samples. I shall be trying out your recommendations. Thank you.
It's not Drugs , Its passion, she's obviously passionate about what she does, that's why I watch her, she knows what she's talking about, Trinny is great .
I love how Trinny engages young people inn her work.I believe our young people are amazing and deserve support and encouragement.Trinny shows respect and gratitude wich is not always common nowadays, goes a long way in my book.x
I'm using The ordinary Vitamin c suspension but I use it as a treatment, seperately from other products (serums) because it strips all other layers of products (products roll of your skin no matter if you pat it or rub it in) that you might put on your skin before or after. also, they say you should use their "suspensions" formulas after "water solutions" so it's not always the case to use your vitamin c first in your routine, at least not if you're using their product as well. The formula is very granular and it leaves my skin rather "oily" once it sets in (if that's the right word to use) - I don't know why so I don't always moisturize my skin after using it (I find it doesn't feel drying or like I need to add more moisture).
Kim W I actually do like the product's results, the only down side is that it's not "put on and go" kind of a product if you know what I mean. I think for the price, you really can't go wrong with this one in my opinion - it's pretty straight forward and good quality (no bullshit type of a product), the only thing is, if you're looking for no effort type of formula, then I would say this is not it. Like I said, it doesn't work that well with other products I use (though no problem with my daily used Avene moisturizer). I can't imagine putting it on before make up for example but as a mid-day treatment it works for me and I will repurchase for sure. Hope this helps you (and I'm sorry if it's a bit of a long answer) ☺️
Kaja Race rub the suspension in your hands first to dissolve the granules and then put it in your face. I had the same problem until I tried this method and it no longer pills. I'm almost finished my tube now and will try something else next.
Trinny if you haven’t already you need to get your paws on IS Clinical Pro Heal Serum With Vitamin C and Retinol. I am obsessed with it. I used my galvanic roller every morning to roll it in. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my pigmentation. Highly recommend!
I use Clinique fresh pressed and absolutely love it. Beautiful texture which I'd say is the dimethicone. Has 10% L Ascorbic acid. Only thing I noticed is it starts off white in colour and after about 1.5-2 weeks it changes colour. So it does oxidise. I then throw it out which probably makes this product expensive. One ampule is meant to be for 7 days and you get 4 ampules in a box so a month supply. I think I paid $50 Australian dollars which is a month supply so not the cheapest.
I am very pleased with vit C 23% , eve tho it does not sink in totally, it sometimes stings etc , I will be buying back ups as my first tube is almost done. I love to apply it 2-3 times a week, especially at the end of a day that i've spent way too much time in the sun or in polluted air ,
I have started using filorga Vitamin C, gets mixed easily with a lovely serum which is part of the capsule and it goes on beautifully ,smells nice and each ampoule is hermetically sealed and only the vitamin C releases each time you open the little container ( comes in threes) and once opened its kept in the fridge.
The vitamins do work, I've had so many levels measured and improvement found with follow up blood tests. Your body takes what it needs and gets rid of the rest.
I used the Clinique Fresh Pressed 7 day system and loved it! My skin was definitely much brighter and the texture was smoother - I have decent skin already yet still noticed an improvement so I'll be splashing out on the monthly package for sure. If money is tight, the 7 day system would be great to use a week before an event (so long as you don't breakout!) to freshen you up, or even just buy the powders - they'd make enough of a difference on their own, I reckon. I've tried the Kate Somerville Vit C dual dispenser serum and the Dennis Gross Ferulic and Retinol pads - KS had no effect and the DG is a lengthy process. Clinique had me noticably brighter after 3 days!
Love the info and your energy. I've started looking after my skin just before my 40th birthday 😨 because of you. I buy Beauty Pie, The Ordinary and will look to more adventurous/recommended brands after watching more of your videos!
hero project is not £4.00 darling x im just pondering on a purchase however im happy with the ordinary and just discovered the body shop vit c you add the ascorbic to the liquid it gives a ten day supply it retails at 17.00 and i love it
I am using pure ascorbic acid (from BulkSupplements) mixed with distilled water, 20%. cost is approximately $5 a year, I make a new batch every two weeks-ish, it takes me 30 seconds to make. I keep it in a dark glass bottle.
I also use The Ordinary. It would not mix well with sunscreen and foundation so I use it at night. Also I thought Vitamin C wasn't to be used daytime. I still have pigmentation so maybe that's where I've been going wrong? Thanks Trinny.
Superdrug have just released their own brand vitamin c range and it’s amazing it smells of citrus which is delish and 100% vegan/vegetarian friendly xxx Can’t believe I only just subscribed to your channel trinny xx
I use The Ordinary 23% vitamin c and love it before moisturiser at night. And it's affordable! Nadine Baggot has a great video on vitamin c. She recommends using lower % vitamin c in the morning and higher levels at night. I think this is good advice. I also like Alpha H vitamin c for the morning. I'm interested in trying Drunk Elephant.
She says she wants to keep it with a phone because that way it can be live and have interaction with the people who watch her. I agree that a camera would improve the quality but you can see the products on her blog and I rather sacrifice image for the interaction you get that you don't get with other youtube people.
It's true, that is the reason, but all those young smart people..they haven't figured out that you can connect a good video camera to a laptop and still do face book live in the same way. The girl by the stairs will have another laptop just as she does now or order a really long cord. Or put a mirror on the window and turn the phone camera around because the other side is always the better camera. But either way.. we love her so much that a bad camera won't stop us from watching or buying product that she will make ❤.
I have been using The Ordinary for 3 weeks and I have seen a big difference in my skin, I love it. My mother (63yo) has been using Indeed vitamin C for a month and has loved the results, she has been using this 4 nights a week and Indeed retinol 3 nights.
Hey Trinny and crew! Love your videos! So fun and fabulous! When are you doing your next style/clothing one please? They are my favourites. Much love and thanks, Gem x
Trinny I absolutely enjoy and appreciate your impromptu delivery of information. It would be really fabulous if you could get that phone balancing issue fixed.
Speaking of Dr Sebagh .... Would you PLEASE do a session on Botox & fillers .I saw the one where you discussed upper lip lines & Dracula facial , but would LOVE to know what else you do to enhance your already beautiful face & skin . Especially advice & recommendations about fillers in mid- lower face . Lovely to meet Victoria & Fleur 🌺
In Australia there is a cosmedical skincare product range called Skinstitut and they have a vitamin c powder they you mix in with your other serums ! It's amazing ! I mix it with their even blend serum and it's amazing !! I'm just about to give the Ordinary products the go !
sometimes I have to change the speed to .75 because you're so busy! I have been using the Klairs Freshly juiced vitamin drop. I was bummed to look it up and see only 5%. I think I'm going to try the one from The Ordinary and the one from La Roche Posay.
I am obsessed with my good genes by Sunday Riley. When I switched to a higher percentage vitamin c(the ordinary), I felt like I wanted to rip my skin off with the GG step. I tried mixing it into my moisturizer but it still increased my sensitivity. So I have to switch back and forth between the vitamin c and good genes. Which to me is pointless bc my GG fades my spots way faster which was my main concern with vitamin c products.I think I just don't need both so my skin freaked out. tldr: The increased vitamin c did not mix well with my routine.
I just bought Hero Project Vit C and it is around £40 not £4.90......may need to check your prices. Love it though I prefer the slight oil texture to it.
Is there any benefit to Vitamin C slow release tablets crushed to a powder applied topically to the face immediately? I have seen many utubers saying this works? Thank you.
I am using Mabel+Meg Lumilixir, not so sure I feel the effects of vit C there even though it says there is 20% content, I don't feel the tingle or smell, but skin looks lovely

Can you use Vit c the same day as Retinol? I use The Ordinary Retinol 2% every other night and want to start using a C product but I have a bit of sensitive skin. Blahhhh. I so agree that exfoliation is the key to good skin and up until I turned 46 I had skin that could take a beating, so I'm trying to shed skin without making my skin angry with me!
thank you so much - yes on the SPF...I feel naked without it! My neck and décolleté is quite mad I didn't realize this so long ago in my teens when sun lamps were all the rage!!!
Sunday Riley is one of my favourite brands. CEO, a non greasy moisturiser which deeply nourishes the skin, leaving a lovely glow. This product contains another superior form of vitamin C combined with Lime pearl extract, allowing for easier absorption. Hope this helps Bianca x
Two excellent, but too smelly for me to use, are by Paula's Choice and Drunk Elephant. A rather expensive one that also provides hydration is by Algenist.
can i use my normal cream and sprinkle some camu camu powder over it? it is also vit. c, or does this not work? on youtube you find also many videos for diy's? what do you think about. there is a good one from gorgeously green. love her diy's
I tried all the Vc products mentioned with exception of C24 an dr whatshername. But I find the Kiehl’s superior. The only one where I noticed a major difference in my skin
Did you have work done on your eye lids? In your other videos, they don't look as heavy/low. Any information on how to create lift would be greatly appreciated.
Hello ,can i use Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone after dermarolling/ needling? will the silicone be ok to use after or do I need a pure vitamin c?
They are two of the best & most effective ones out there. I think they have a horrible odor that I can't get over, but if you can, they are the best of the best.
I've been waiting for this video so thanks. I use Skinceuticals Vit C and have tried the Timeless Vit C. It was ok cheaper but only available online so unable to try before buying. Look forward to Retin A products with Caroline. My other requests, favourite fragrance and exfoliating toners. My list is endless and I love the videos.
Trinny we are over the moon to be mentioned in your video, and with such an efficient & glowing review! Thank you. ⭐
Thank you, Trinny ! We are thrilled you love our very own Vit C-30 from THE HERO PROJECT. It's £39 (small correction) and surely great results.
I have been using Timeless Vit C serum (20%). Before that I used Peter Thomas Roth which was a 3x the price and the formulation is the same. I've tried Drunk Elephant, Skinceuticals and Paula's Choice all produce beautiful results but I always return to Timeless..

Timeless.....affordable and effective. I've tried others, but this works best for me.
she makes me dizzy!! really informative, but I need to pause it once in a while. I envy her energy levels :)

somehow responded as my daughters name ... ? she does not use vitamin C topically at 16 I do ...Caroline Piotrowski
what is the full name of this product?
The vitamins do work, I've had so many levels measured and improvement found with follow up blood tests. Your body takes what it needs and gets rid of the rest.
Tinny can you do a video on layering ..

I do the same. Given it to sisters and friends. Always fresh, always pure.
I also use The Ordinary.
It would not mix well with sunscreen and foundation so I use it at night.
Also I thought Vitamin C wasn't to be used daytime. I still have pigmentation so maybe that's where I've been going wrong?
Thanks Trinny.

Maxine Green - they're the best💋
Trinny please buy a camera so we can see the stuff you are showing.

Great info as usual. I have used Timeless 20% Vitamin C Plus E Ferulic Acid and my pigmentation (brown spots) are greatly reduced.😀❤️

Oh my god this is so theatrical.Love it,I'm so glad I stumbled down to you😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm so confused with the steps. After cleansing, what is next? Serums Vit C or Hydrologic Acid or AHA? So confused. Help!

Hi Trinny two vitamin C to try Rationale (more expensive), Mad Hippie (less expensive), both are very good. Love your work!!!!!
Maree Guyatt using Mad Hippie - very gentle but doesn't seem to work as a brightener
I'm using zelens vit c oil/serum. I like it although not quite sure if i can see any effect.
Trinny, could you please do a little video about your gorgeous bracelets that you have on all the time!? x
yes, i love them too
Is there any benefit to Vitamin C slow release tablets crushed to a powder applied topically to the face immediately? I have seen many utubers saying this works? Thank you.
Can't wait to see Caroline!
How can you tell if vitamin C is working for your skin? Does it change the appearance or is it more preventative for sun spots etc. Thanks
Yes, when you get a tingly sensation it means that its working..
Oh gosh, Trinny, just love you, girl! xoxo
I am using Mabel+Meg Lumilixir, not so sure I feel the effects of vit C there even though it says there is 20% content, I don't feel the tingle or smell, but skin looks lovely
Trinny you are delightfully crazy! What a way to.introduce this session! Bangadang!!!!!!
Hi Trinny, you are my inspiration! You are amazing!
Hello all, I'm am asking a question, has anyone tired A'kin Brightening Rosehip Oil with Vitamin C? If so what do you think about it. Do you think it's worth the money? I'm not sure if I should buy it.. plus I'm new to the vitamin c club 😃😄.
Using - Superdrugs Vitamin E. SPF Moisturising Day Cream AND Vitamin E Leave - On Moisture Mask
I also use the Timeless Vitamin C and it works well.
Hi Trinny, have you tried the new Clinique Fresh Pressed Vit C range? A powder followed by a serum?
I haven't tried Clinique Vit C range yet x
Wondering Star I'm not Trinny, obviously, but highly recommend you try the 7 days system they have. I noticed an improvement after only 3 days. The morning wash powders are fantastic and the serum obviously helps to boost results. Some vit C products have broken me out in the past but the Clinique one didn't and I got a good couple of weeks out of the serum.
Thank you so much for your advice. I have adult acne and am seriously prone to breakouts. I wanted to try the seven day regime-but wasn't sure whether to take the plunge! You have convinced me! Thanks for taking the time to reply xxx
Hi Trinny, I am enjoying the 20% Vitamin C+E + Ferulic from a company called Skin Deva.
I'm exhausted just watching you!! lol. You have so much positive energy. I LOVE IT!!! You're absolutely stunning! I've only just stumbled onto your channel and subscribed. Great content and I absolutely agree topical Ascorbic Acid is essential. Best wishes!
Hi Trinny I turned 44 this week. Will vitamin C help me look 34? 😃
Yes x
Lol...Love you Trinny! You’re hilarious! Thanks for all the great info in all your videos😁
Hey ! Can I use vitamine C serum although I have active acne ?
Please do a video on your routine over a whole week. I have learnt so much from you and discovered some great reasonable products. But how many times a week would you use a vit c product as opposed to a serum like good genes? I don't like to pile product on top of product because I am prone to reactions.
Product label says to use max 2 a day....
Thanks
Are you sure The hero project serum is £5 ?I paid 39 for mine and now I am wondering if I paid too much lol......I did Google it again after hearing your price and everywhere I look the price is 39
First time watching your videos and suscribe love your energy.
I don’t tingle with the indeed, should I go to DCL 30%?
Can you use Vit c the same day as Retinol? I use The Ordinary Retinol 2% every other night and want to start using a C product but I have a bit of sensitive skin. Blahhhh. I so agree that exfoliation is the key to good skin and up until I turned 46 I had skin that could take a beating, so I'm trying to shed skin without making my skin angry with me!
just be sure to use high SPF when using retinol and any kind of acid...actually, I correct that, you MUST use SPF all year round, even if it's cloudy.
thank you so much - yes on the SPF...I feel naked without it! My neck and décolleté is quite mad I didn't realize this so long ago in my teens when sun lamps were all the rage!!!
Hello, I am 19 and I have started using vitamin C every night. The vitamin C serum I use is CEO from Sunday Riley. What do you think of this product?
Sunday Riley is one of my favourite brands. CEO, a non greasy moisturiser which deeply nourishes the skin, leaving a lovely glow. This product contains another superior form of vitamin C combined with Lime pearl extract, allowing for easier absorption. Hope this helps Bianca x
T R I N N Y Thank you very much! It helps to know I am on the right path. Love watching your videos! Take care!
I am using Vitamin C 2000mg tablet. So how will l use vitamin C serum on my skin...
Two excellent, but too smelly for me to use, are by Paula's Choice and Drunk Elephant. A rather expensive one that also provides hydration is by Algenist.
Anonom2012 LOVE, LOVE Drunk Elephant . Best one I've ever used ! A keeper
Anonom2012 I agree I've got the ordinary one can't use it due to the texture and smell. Horrible
Anonom2012 - I love them both. Smells like garbage, but I'm not swapping as they are the best on the market and perfect under sunscreen. 💋
Hello from Muscat! Been waiting for this thanks Trinny xx
can i use my normal cream and sprinkle some camu camu powder over it? it is also vit. c, or does this not work? on youtube you find also many videos for diy's? what do you think about. there is a good one from gorgeously green. love her diy's

Hi tinny what do you think about paulas choice & druunk elephant vit c
They are two of the best & most effective ones out there. I think they have a horrible odor that I can't get over, but if you can, they are the best of the best.

Drunk Elephant!! You must explore this skincare line. I love it 😍
Sus Castillo - it just came to the UK a few months ago and I’ve been using exclusively ever since. My skin is looking great!
