    My natural hair colour is brown/brunette and I have dyed it into a bronde (sort of what you have). I have kept my natural hair at the root and throughout and then I added some highlights to get a kind of a sun-kissed look.
    My eyes are brown, with a sort of a reddish undertone. And my skin is medium, olive toned, certainly NO pink undertone, quite yellowish I would say.

    Strawberry blonde hair, natural color..never been dyed, fair skin with pink undertones and blue sometimes green eyes, depending on what I'm wearing. Over 50. No wrinkles. No botox. No fillers. Would love to see some fun, bolder colors.

    It's difficult to say. I look somewhat like Anna and Chloe and a little bit like you with the eyes (Hispanic and Dutch heritage with Central and West Asia influences as well as Caucasus). Sometimes I look ochre, at other times, ochre olive, other times, beige/whitish (depending on the light). But I haven't been looking after my skin for a long time because I've not had any time to. Excellent advice and tips and good camera techniques!!

      Plus East Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, little Senegalese. Hence, the changes of colours, I think, from yellow to ochre, to beige to olive/ochre. But I like the vitamin C face cream.

    • @18daisydoll65

      Artlover I don't know the extent of your rosacea, However I'm going to tell what worked for me.... my doctor prescribed Rozex 0.75% Metronidazole for the spots, I had one course of laser for my broken veins. The laser didn't get eradicate my worst spider vein, but I think it helped with the finer lines. I use a strong SPF in the sun. I've cut out dairy products, if I fall of the wagon and eat too much chocolate I'll get pimples. I take a lot of vitamin C and a daily Skin Hair and Nail multi vitamin, I use ASDA's as it's cheap and has biotin in it. I cleanse with warm not hot water and Dermol Lotion, use Olay 3 point serum and L'Oréal Age Perfect golden age daily moisturiser. My rosacea is well controlled with this regime. I'd be thrilled if any of this helps you or anyone else.

    • @JVSwailesBoudicca
      @JVSwailesBoudicca 7 лет назад +1

      How kind of you to give me all this info....Thank you.
      I am "lucky"(?!)enough not to have any spots, just red/broken veins (result of a bad car accident in my teens = with 3 cracked vertebrea & numerous serious injuries)......I have to admit that I am v bad at using my SPF regularly so I must "try harder". As a vegetarian I hate the thought of not eating my fave food = Cheese !! I had no idea that it made Rosacea worse ..... not happy about that ! I have noticed that my Vit C Serum makes it flare up noticeably !

    • @18daisydoll65
      @18daisydoll65 7 лет назад

      Artlover oh my goodness your accident and injuries sound horrific, the saying "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" springs to mind💐 the cheese/dairy thing is because of my age, I'm 52 and going through the dreaded menopause. Somebody told me that the oestrogen in dairy can aggravate menopause symptoms, no idea if this is true, but cutting down has certainly helped me. Rosacea is apparently caused by tiny mites and I believe that the Dermol Lotion I use helps clear these up as it contains an anti microbial ingredient (it helps with psoriasis too!). Not over heating is important as well. My worst spider vein appeared after I'd steamed my face with a hot cloth, I'm never doing that again. All the very best to you Artlover, you're an inspiration xx

    • @JVSwailesBoudicca
      @JVSwailesBoudicca 7 лет назад

      It was really good to hear from you & your words are really helpful to me...I will certainly get some Dermol Lotion to see if it helps me. I have recently heard that Dermol Rollers can help , which was a big surprise. And Yes= over heating CERTAINLY makes mine worse....if I go inTo a hot shop (aweful at this time of year...) I can feel my face flaring up in 5mins....According to friends my house is "too cold"....Well= it suits me & we just wear an extra jumper & socks !!!! I am addicted to my hot water bottle not not radiators !!! All Best wishes XX
      PS= I am 60 😲😓 !!!

    Fun! I have lots of high-contrasting elements to my coloring, always tough to know what to do when you're not as blessed as Snow White. Very pale skin (always the palest shade, BObbi's porcelain or alabaster) with yellow undertones, can go quite sallow, the darkest brown eyes with warm bits that show only in direct sun, and cool medium brown hair that I lighten a shade and highlight with light warm brown all over the crown (not quite bronde). Quite severe dark circles/visible veins undereye and deep set eyes but no wrinkling- In short, between the pale sallowness and eyes, people always ask if I'm ill or tired (why thank you!) Pinks are flattering on cheeks and lips, but if they're too cool they look bubble-gummy and fake. I need to give life to this skin and define my eyes without looking like Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. I blame my combination of straight up English and Italian heritage. Help!

  • @joscleo3567

    I love this! Wondering if you could do this same concept with a nude lip? I never know which nude is best on me. I am Portuguese with olive skin with light hazel eyes that pull more green when I wear purple or olive. My hair is light brown that is very highlighed. My skin tone is closer to Chole's...I got that Rimmel lip stick that she is wearing in this video and it totally brings out my eyes and skin and I received many compliments the day I wore it. Plums and peaches look well on me more than pinks (pinks clash with me- except for a bold fuschia/orchid). I am always challenged with the nude lip - they always wash me out and make me feel like I'm dead or don't have lips. Thank you so much for all you do! I have learned so much from your and I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!! Best to you and the girls!

    Trinny my hair is salt and pepper grey - dark brunette originally but I have grown it out over the past 16 months! I have black brows and lashes. My skin is fair and prone to freckles/age spots and not warm or pink toned I think? I'm 49 and want a natural look for a skin that is still very oily on the forehead and chin. My face eats makeup! Thanks. x

    I have golden light brown hair (natural) with dark green eyes and super, super pale skin (most brands don't go pale enough with foundation for me). I've been told I'm neutral, but I think I pull more cool toned. I flush easily on the cheeks and chest and find the redness in my cheeks/nose really hard to cover with makeup.

    Great selection of serums Trinny! The Bioeffect serum is a great one, the only down side is it is based on a single EGF and from what I've read it comes from GMO plantations. There is some controversy about that. Although EGF molecules are the future!
    Have you tried the Martiderm Photo-Age? I discovered it this weekend when I went to the pharmacy to get the Skinceuticals Serum 10 AOX! It's a serum with 15% Ascorbic Acid, 5% Proteoglycans, Vitamin A, E and F, Bifida Ferment Lysate... it's really good! But one of the best things about it is the fact that it comes in 2ml ampoules that last for 3-4 uses. I personally think it's genius because it doesn't oxidize.

      Kate Crowley AnteAge by Cellese is one of the brands showing promising results with cytokines based skincare. It is a big field of research and there's an extensive, and quite interesting, amount of scientific literature to read about it.
      Copper Tripepride-1 also deserves a look as it has been shown to be more effective than vitamin C, Retinol and even Retinois Acid in stimulating collagen. You can find the clinical trials on pubmed!

    I am told I have yellow tones ( is that right when the veins are green) I am natural medium brown or should say I was until the crown went grey. I have a light golden blonde tint but on my hair which I love but my hairdresser says it is too light. During summertime my hair can go very white due to the sun and then I will have a few lowlights put in For some reason I think when I wear black mascara and dark brown eyeliner I think it looks harsh on me. Wearing a bit of brown mascara and my eyes don't have no definition. Thank you, Trinny. I love your channel

    I love The Ordinary Niacinamide and Zinc 1% and their Hyaluronic Acid 2% w/ B5 during the day for my dry skin with spots, then my moisturizer. I use prescription Tretinion cream at night. I have very, very sensitive and problematic skin, so there are few of the products mentioned that I can use, sadly. I am about to try a few of Deciem's NIOD range. You have up to a year to return products, which is great. It took two weeks for me to really see a difference, so give it a bit of time. Hope this helps.

    You do make me smile ! You pronounce things really funny sometimes bless the you ! Very sweet ! Use Julia hunter vitamin c powder with her wrinkle Hyaluronic gel on your skin . That's the strongest vitamin c and the most potent you can get :) I roller that into my skin . Next thing :) look at NIOD who are part of Deciem ! The 5% copper peptide serum is one of the ultimate anti ageing serums on the market . They also make a 30% Ethylated L-Ascorbic acid serum ! It's mind blowing skin changing amazingly stable form of Ascorbic acid . Your a superstar :) . Danny

I think they are adorable and they are clearly good picks because they compliment your vision but i can't help but feel for them when the camera is turned on them. They are both classic beauties,, in their own ways. I'd love to see the natural transformation that your magic would work on them. I think they are the best start at reaching the ordinary viewer. My sincerest apologies if this has been attended to already. i'm new here.

    The Ordinary specially says you can’t mix THEIR Vitamin C serums with Copper Peptides/ do that rules out the Buffet. I think they say why, but I don’t understand...

    Hi Trinny I have natural darkish brown hair that I highlight blonde darker shades in the winter and lighter blonde shades in the summer. Very pale skin pinkish undertone on cheeks and dark blue eyes with brown around the pupil so hard to find eye shades that pop the eye colour. Can you help with pores I exfoliate and my pores are lovely and clear but as so as I put serum and moisturiser make up on I can see them again. Do you close them with cold water or a tonner etc Help its driving me mad.!!!

    I actually use the dermalogica daily microfoliant.i love it cause it's not too abrasive. also the Smith lip balm too. I put it in on at night , and when I wake up my lips are super moisturized. I'm really wanting to start dermarolling but a lil scared😮. But after watching you do it, I'm hoping I'll get the courage to try it. Your skin is gorgeous!! Oh, btw, my skin is fair, slightly pink tone , light brown, with a slight tint of Auburn in the sun . Have a good day love!😆

    I've just ordered a 0.5mm titanium derma roller and it will be coming this week. Would you be able to make a video on how to use it for beginners and any advice you have?
    I have acne prone skin and I am aware that it should not be used on current spots, I plan to use it on acne scarring; as well as stretch marks on my back.
    Many thanks! x

    Love your videos, so informative and helpful. My coloring has changed as I've aged - hair from natural red/gold/brown to grey & ash blonde blah, eyes used to be dark brown and complexion a shade or two darker also. Learning what does and doesn't work has been a challenge
    Current hair is auburn, eyes amber brown and complexion fair pink with freckles.

    Have you ever tried BioEffect's 30-day treatment, Trinny? I've wondered how it compares to their regular EGF serum.
    I have fair skin with dead neutral (according to my lovely Chantecaille MUA) undertones, blue-green eyes and chestnut brown hair (a shade or two darker than my natural colour). Love all your videos!

    Would LOVE a natural make up tutorial for a mature natural strawberry blonde! Even the top make up artists seem to do the make up too dark and heavy e.g.. black mascara and eyeliner! Dark brown brows! Bright clashing colours! All of which kill the delicate colouring of a redhead. Ageing does 'fade' the facial features, which need to be redefined. I get that but it is so hard to hold on to being pale and interesting lol!!! oxox

    Wow, talking about frantic! Love your energy and information--so packed --but do wander if "a little bit goes a long way," is a better approach to watching. Just discovered your channel--wish it were sooner--so I could spread it over time. Feels like watching a sister, I never had. Cheers!
