Thanks for this useful information, i am new to foildrive and ride the whizz 1000…on a 48l board. The first time was a bit difficult to go on plane…your advise is very helpful.
Heya I do not pay attention to the temperature and my run time. I generally get approx 40 to 50 mins on the water with a battery. however, I am very trigger-happy and almost always on the foil.
Prone foiling at the Gold Coast was next-level fun! If you love the surf, you’ve gotta see the slow-motion clips I shared in the link! ruclips.net/video/lcFc0Oq1jHE/видео.html
Heya, yes, I originally had an 82cm but with the extra 5cm from the foil drive. Where I surf, I was too far away from the power of the wave! So I shortened my mast to 75cm + 5cm (80cm). However when ridding in proper surf like cornwall or devon an 82cm works very well! a lot of my customers do not have 75cm they all use 82cm and works very well :)

Have you tried the hyperglide for prone?
Thanks Sam - Great video and real world comparison. How are you getting on with battery power and duration with colder air and water temperatures?

I thought you were in Devon. Just seen Saunton sands in the background 😂
hi, did you try the crush without the antenna for foil drive ?
I didn't, but I tried my Skybrid before I got the crush, and it has the same construction. So I assumed it wouldn't work like the sky bird.
You can stop the Whizz being twitchy for winging by just putting a P series stabilizer with it instead of the Whizz stabilizer - sorts it right out.
Thats what I found out as well, what size P stabs have you tried with the Whizz 1000?
@@inlab100 think it was a P180, been a while since I rode the Whizz
