I catch myself doing those 1 handed shots too the odd time ... I think it's when my brain knows I'm gonna hook it so I bail out & guide it open one handed. Karl is a great kid Paul & I'd love to see him on tour some day. he's a well rounded individual too so well done dad :) you have plenty of fans over here in Ireland.
+Jonathan Feeney Thanks enormously Jonathan. I've always tried to ensure that Karl keeps a level head despite his success on the course. It's something that was missing with Tiger, yet you see that good quality in the new generation more. Cheers
Hi Paul, Karl's left hip is a lot higher at the top of his swing with his left knee kicked in more right than it has been recently where it shot forward and not to the right at the top. It is a lot better, is this something you have worked on ? The low left hip at the top was causing him lots of problems and leading to blocked shots and other issues. The low left hip was setting up a tilt of the upper body towards the target with too much weight left side at the top , it is very noticeable in the recent video where Karl was wearing black especially the view you took from behind him.. Next time you film can you take some shots directly in front and behind him as it is easier to see what is going on with the hip levels.
+John Hue Karl somehow adapts by himself when he has an issue. Lord knows how he does it- he's just blessed in that regard. We'll upload some down-the line video shortly. Cheers
+Karl Vilips Hi Paul, The low left hip at the top is something you need to keep an eye on , you want it level at the top with the distance between the left hip and left rib cage compressed. A little left heel lift helps this . He will load onto his right side better have more time in his downswing and hit it further with less spin.
Great video! I've noticed Karl hits it so far when using the driver off the tee. I was wondering if he does certain excercises that help specifically hit the ball farther? Thanks! Great video, and keep it up
Mr.Vilips, any reason you never play when Karl is just playing rounds like these? Is it because you're filming or you do play and we just don't see you?
He's growing taller from vid to vid. You have to lay off the 100% maple syrup diet ;-) Nice driving! oh, no idea why he let's his hand go other than he's seen tour players doing it ?!?
+3rdgroove Having researched it more, it appears to be good sign, indicative (apparently) of letting the left hand lead and the right hand just go along for the ride once the player arrives at impact. Cheers

Been watching Karl for a good year now, it's amazing how he's grown as an athlete, he's a true inspiration.
+Cesar Shinall Thank you Cesar. Karl appreciates comments like yours.
Cheers
I live in the area. Its nit that cold yet. Just wait till you go golfing in november
+NewyGolfKid84 We won't be here then. If the visa isn't sorted by then, we'll be elsewhere.
Cheers
So proud to call Karl a fellow aussie
+Brandon Redman Thank you. Where are you from?
+Karl Vilips Sydney NSW

+DiamondHoe11 Sorry to say that Karl does no exercises whatsoever.
Cheers
Seriously? Wow, I guess I've been wasting my time working out xD Jk thanks for the reply
Yeah, that's what I'm doing right now, but about 230, and not that straight xD
I was thinking about getting aero burner woods would you suggest them
+Kyler Cote Great woods and they're what Karl uses.
Cheers
Any news on getting back to the U.S?
+ddavissports Waiting on a review of the original decision not to let us in. Should be available later this week.
Cheers
Mr.Vilips, any reason you never play when Karl is just playing rounds like these? Is it because you're filming or you do play and we just don't see you?
+Ben Carey I sold my own clubs in 2009 to help fund Karl's golf and haven't played a round since.
Cheers
How have you guys enjoyed the courses in Ontario? Found them nice?
+Blair Malfara Great courses and really friendly folk up this way.
Cheers
That's so good. Im from Markham. Played Wooden Sticks and York Downs many a time. Good luck to you and Karl in the future!!
These are awesome
+Carson Wilmer Thanks Carson.
how is it going with Carl's reentry into the United States
+Brian Phillips The official review of the initial refusal is just a few days away. Then we'll know what to do next.
Cheers
Best of luck

Is Karl back in u.s or still can't get back into the country ?
+Mitchell Bassett No change in our status.
Any word on your interview?
+cory tourand Still waiting....
Duck dynasty is the best 👍🏻
I kinda don't like the replays
+Clash lover Nobody's forcing you to watch them. A lot of others like to study Karl's swing in slow motion.
Cheers
+Karl Vilips the replays help me bring what Karl does into my own game, and play better.
