    One of the cards says "fast as LIGHNING"- just a note if the developers see this.

    I recently ordered this and can't wait for it to come in the mail. I've been scouring youtube,etc. for reviews and from what I've seen,holy smokes,this is the definite go to zombie game to get. I've got a ton of zombie games and they're good but always take so long to setup or take so long to play that most people get bored within a half hour and boom everything back in the box. To make matters worse,there really aren't any solo versions that can be played straight outta the box. Tiny Epic Zombies has it all and boy I can't remember ever being so excited for such a huge game in such a small box.

    Gamelyn Games run excellent KickStarter campaigns with top tier communication. The Tiny Epic games are fun, but I also like to support the company. See you tomorrow!

      But if you see the TE's series carefully, will notice that Gamelyn is just creating games with the most common and "popular" (cliche) themes: medieval fantasy, Space, Western... Now is turn for Zombies and yes it's very possible that the next to the TEZ will be a "Tiny Epic Vikings" jejeje

    Funny seeing this come out after you guys talked about zombies and themes on chit chat. Mechanica look good, however, so I will probably back it.

    I don't care if it's the 500th zombie game to be published. If it's a Scott Almes game, I'm in.

    do you know if they will ever make this game reg. size?? I think if they gave us an option during this KS people will out order large over tiny. what do you think. i also needs clip on card to track shots and health instead of block markers

    • @nerdfatha
      @nerdfatha 6 лет назад

      Bella Petris Their whole niche is their small size. Full size gameplay in a easy to store and carry box. They only time they offered a new size was for TEK and they made it smaller! There are a ton of full sized zombie games out there to scratch a similar itch.

    I was really hoping this was Tiny Epic Horror. Very odd that they are using the zombie theme even tho its been overused to death already. Not sure on this one.

      Philip Mazzone Well be sure because there is only like a day left to back it and it's amazing.

  • @Rikolus83

    You mention 24 cards as a Timer. Seems like one is drawn at the end of your turn. So, in a 4-player game, that means I only get Six Turns for the entire game? Does that seem a bit short?

    • @stevefratus1546
      @stevefratus1546 6 лет назад

      Rikolus83 It does seem that way but technically you get three "turns" per turn and when hand to hand fighting a zombie you can roll the overkill symbol which gives you another move. I can't wait to play this game.

    So tired of zombies :( Zombies and Cthulhu games should relax for a bit IMO

  • @repeataftermeme75
    @repeataftermeme75 6 лет назад

    It doesn't seem like people love the Zombie theme as it's "played out". Not sure what the definition of that would be because every game has a pasted on theme. Almost the entire genre of euro games are practically the same. The games call it "move your workers here, here, and here and collect resources; then spend your collected resources to buy crap". What are the resources you speak of? Glad you asked, they're commonly known as wood, coal, wheat, metal, brick, and etc etc. It's the same shit over an over but nobody says anything which I find odd. Sure there's subtle differences and they may even function differently but in the end it's the same shit. Ok what about dungeon crawlers? Great question, let's break it down. First we got the heroes who start with shit equipment and such, second, they venture into a dungeon they can get lost in; I mean there's "don't take candy from strangers and if anyone asks you to get in their car say no and run" but to go in a dungeon that's crawling with monsters and shit is light years above stupid. It's a dungeon, nobody should go in them, crazy shit goes on in dungeons and monsters seem to make it there home which is another reason to avoid them. The dungeon crawl them when broken down is really dumb and the heroes in these type of games are even more dumb. Third, players move and fight monsters. There might be the occasional even card but it's rinse and repeat. There are plenty of dungeon crawler type games out there but in the end they're the same. There are more games with a Syfy and fantasy theme slapped on them then there will ever be Zombie or Cthulhu games but people complain about them anyways. There are the games in these genres that actually stand out sure but the rest don't. The Zombie theme is a sandbox theme that you can do almost anything with which is why they're used so much and people still love them. Cthulhu is another sandbox theme that's versatile. If the theme was S.W.AT. but the majority of this game was the same, people would love it. The survivors would be "trained swat members and the Zombies would be your average criminal". If the game is fun play it and enjoy. Try the game at least. How many games are in our collections we originally ignored until we played them, a lot I bet because we ended going out and buying them.

    Nice preview!
    On the video itself, please don't say MvM ever again lol, it just doesn't sound right, just say the whole name please :)
    As for the game, based on your statements, it sounds like you can't do an action in your room (melee/ranged attack, search, etc.), and then move out of it, and that seems pretty ridiculous to me lol.

    • @stevefratus1546
      @stevefratus1546 6 лет назад

      Justin Boehm I've watched all of the videos. You have three moves and you can go from one room to the next doing stuff until your moves are used up. Unless you melee a zombie and roll the green overkill symbol which will give you another move.

    They really start to kill their successful franchise with this kind of development and boring theme selection.

    • @fearanarchy
      @fearanarchy 6 лет назад +1

      Marc Kaiser, until they get over $100k in 2hrs...4,000+ backers in 2hrs... They know how/why they succeed.

    • @marckaiser8452
      @marckaiser8452 6 лет назад

      fearanarchy obviously and hopefully also no offense taken. My point was that I don‘t see how this will become an outstanding game. The franchise is strong but the underlying mechanics and theme is IMHO weak.

    • @fearanarchy
      @fearanarchy 6 лет назад

      Marc Kaiser I disliked TEW, many disliked TED 1st ed.. There premise, plan for the games, etc usually does not always lend itself to top tier.
      I am backing becauae the Solo seems like TEQ; it'll feel like multiplayer exp. They are riding ITEMeeples hard as they know they are pseudo-miniatures.
      This is formulaic, mostly filler... Um.. Filler-Weight game.
      Rip off Zombicide? Sure, so long as it is easier to shoot Zombies than people. This is a strong financial decision that will affect the strong future for ITEMeeples.
      Literally, they print money twice a year now.

    Getting sick of all these games going via Kickstarter. This one for example, they've made a tonne of money on the others, people are going to buy it. Just make the game and sell it retail.
    I refuse to help fund projects now as I've been mucked around several times. Projects are always a yr in waiting, nearly always late.
    Sorry guys fed up of Kickstarter, staying clear of it.
    I'm sure this will be good game but I'll wait till I see it at my local game store.

    • @stevefratus1546
      @stevefratus1546 6 лет назад

      World of Warpaint Sometimes it's worth it to get the Kickstarter exclusive content. Gamelyn Games is well established and deliver on time with no mucking about. I received Tiny Epic Quest with no problems and it was an awesome campaign. Plus Tiny Epic games are under $30. Plus there is a lot of gameplay in those little boxes.

    • @warpaint9385
      @warpaint9385 6 лет назад

      Steve Fratus I get your argument and these guys are pretty good at getting it right.
      I've had few bad experiences with projects from other publishers and that's put me off backing anything again on Kickstarter.
      I'm still waiting for games that are months late. One is running six months behind.
      I just prefer to buy from retail now.
