I really wish you guys could have seen Calder in its prime, Every week at a test and tune the place was packed. Nascar and Auscar (australian version of Nascar) were racing, and the V8 Supercars were racing on the circuit track. Ever since Bob Jane died, the place has been let go, no one wants to put money into the place. It's a shame, the place could be packed out again all the time like it used to be. It was so good to see you guys here racing, Hopefully we will be over there in the US to see you race there soon. Hope you have a great year of racing, good luck. Did Heather get all her bags home safe? 😆
well what about the 40 million $$ upgrade the gov announced then took away cos of covid that will make the place right still a great place to watch and have a beer on the hill ?

there is so much they could do on the oval track. Just look what Cleetus did with the freedom factory, have celebrity races in old taxis etc. the entertainment value to get a crowd in would attract people.
Looks like they cleaned the thunder dome up a bit some urbex went there and did a video a while ago and it was trashed badly

Scott if you'd crashed up beside that wall on the Nascar track you'd still be rolling...I worked for the electrical company that redone the track lighting at Bristol many years ago now but at completion they give us all tickets to the night race and it was a awesome show
