That's was some miserable conditions, but those kind of days seem to make the fish bite better, seems like you had a great day of it, you placed great out of 132, that's better than the middle, I guess you caught them all on red crankbaits for the most part, can't wait for day 2!🎣😎👍

try some big rubber worms, cranks when you mark pre spawn stacked up fish, craws and hellgrammite of course - you should do ok in this and you always could get lucky - the more you do the better you will fare - work and consistency increases your luck oddly enough - you did prep which was smart get a digital clock you can glue on kayak and also get temp and water temp lcd - when you move try trolling a couple lures - one a deep diver - no harm done - get some thin gortex gloves for days like this

Man I gotta say it’s been pretty cool to see your progression as a fisherman over the last year or two that I’ve been watching your channel. From roadside fishing for sun fish and coosa bass, to buying your first pedal drive and getting into tournaments. And now here you are competing in one of the biggest fishing events there is. It’s pretty dang inspirational. I hope I get the chance to fish along side of you in one of these some day
