ProGuitarShop and ToneReport Weekly are proud to announce a new member of our demo team: Scot Alexander. Scot is the bass player of the band Dishwalla and a gearhead extraordinaire. Scot's specialty will be holding down the low end.
The Electro-Harmonix Battalion is a comprehensive bass tone shaper with a full list of features that bass players crave. Featuring a compressor, four-band EQ, blendable distortion, noise gate and DI box, The Battalion gives you a compact enclosure with enough ammunition to push your bass tone into the sweet spot without ever leaving the pocket. - Видеоклипы
This Scot person is really good at this. Actually informative about all the features, well organized, gives you the benefit of his experience, and tasty playing.
Nice
Thank you, for adding a bass guitarist to the team to flesh out the pedal demonstrations. That said,....a Pettyjohn Crush bass demo request, please. Oh, and I loved the nod to Rustee Allen.
Huge Dishwalla fan. So happy to see Scott reviewing gear. Excellent job.
I get why you guys at PGS decided to allow another awesome player to demo this thing.
After all, Andy has been constantly blowing our minds with his awesome playing for like, what, 10 years as of now?
So I totally understand if Andy wants to take some time off in order to pursue other parallel projects (like writing his own LP perhaps?)
BTW, that'd be amazing, I would be the first to order a vinyl!
Flexible Tune... & nice playing by this Bassmen...!
I dig your "overdriven" setting, been trying to achieve a light overdrive tone with this box, gonna try it out!
Nice work Scot, thanks for the review and especially the demos!
Nice demo, thanks!
Nice and very complete review. Thanks for the video.
Very good review, very good device. I will get one
More bass !!
Epic video!!!
Very nice. Wonder how it compares to similarly priced pre amps like the Hartke Bass Attack 2 or more expensive ones like the MXR M81. Great demo and mighty fine bass playing.
Great demo and cool tones.
However, the settings shown in examples 2 and 3 don't match the tones. N° 2 just repeats the settings of tone 1 and N° 3 shows the settings of tone 2.
I don't really mind, just wanted to point it out.
Accidents happen.
eDWICHt Ahhh crap! Forgive me, my first vid. They got out of order. Thank you for pointing it out, you've got some good ears/eyes!
Good review. But the low frequency must be lower than 200 hz since that’s where the low-mid frequency were. Probably around 80-100 hz at the most would be my guess. I guess it was just mentioned wrong by mistake in the video.
But a good useful review 👍🏻
The pics do not correspond to the sound. He plays fully distorted but the red LED is off? Also he did not understand the three types of arranging the distortion in den signal path. Could be better next time
Is it just me or is the wrong EQ video playing in the corner?
I believe there is an error in your video sir when you’re playing and it reads fully distorted your distortion knob is not even turned on.
Dishwalla bassist!
So the “Distorted Fully” didn’t even have the distortion on?
Can you tell me what cables I need to connect pedal to amp and bass please ? (I am Beginner)
This isn't Andy, and that is OK.
True... It's Scot ;)
Great playing scot, and thanks for the tab for "if you want me to stay" always loved that one, didn't know it. also, you use thumb for popping?
Scott, tell me all your thoughts on god...
jrockn77 I don't think he's met her yet.
...you're not Andy...
There it is!

Wells306 this guy is pretty good and my conspiracy theory is that Andy is currently making the ultimate guitar album to put rock back on the map.
