Dad had a '69 Caprice 2 door in this same color but with black vinyl top and black interior. I love this color to this day. Sure wish I had some pictures of his. It was his first car with an AM-FM STEREO radio and Comfortron automatic heat-cool. In this model they moved the hi beam indicator from its usual location in the middle of the speedo to a bank of rectangular indicators to the right of the steering column. To this day I can hear dad cussin' this setup because the hi-beam indicator ended up hidden right behind the steering wheel.
Real beauty. A nice color which stands out. 2 door bucket seats, console. Chevrolet built a classy car and you've taken care of her well. I had a green 4 door, 427 Caprice, hideaways and all power options, which had a dented rear quarter. The air cleaner said 330 HP. I sold the car about 25 years ago for $1,000. Wonder where she is today?
Man that's sooo nice,I got the same car but 4 door hard top, gonna do my seats leather like that. But man I like that console, I have a bench obviously
Thanks for the comment, the wheels and the dress up kit under the hood is the only thing that we could change and still be able to enter the all original class at the car shows. But i do still have the factory stuff. but once again thank you for the comment.
Nice, my first car was a 69 LTD, 390 2bbl. I use to love loading 6 of us in it to go places. Plus my car had ice cold ac, none of my friends cars had ac
